I know her infatuation for Akash before marriage was not wrong but it is wrong to keep it still after marriage, and here our arnav is totally loyal and committed to khushi now.

Manohar was and is in a complicated mess. Murphy must be smiling at Manohar. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong with Manohar. Nothing has gone right.

He must have envisioned a normal marriage and normal life partner, but, he got an ambitious and affluent Priya. When he tried his best to work it out, it did not bring any positive change in Priya but, he must have changed and a changed Manohar stumbled on a loving and caring Aarti. He was so attracted to Aarti that he forgot he has a family and his wife is currently pregnant with their second kid and he went ahead expressed his love for Aarti, but, Aarti did not let him take the wrong step.

I think Priay figured that Manohar loves Aarti and she must have blamed him for cheating on her. Even if she knows that Aarti sent him back, I don't think she would have acknowledge that. When things went from bad to worse, Manohar had to finally seek divorce and marry Aarti, making Priya dislike all of them (including Shashi) for her broken marriage. When Aarti died, Manohar lost faith in love. He just returned to Priya for the sake of his kids thinking that Priya will take care of Arnav.

But, what did he get? Payal and Arnav still hates him and Priya still blames him.

So, Manohar wanted Khushi to marry Arnav for a long time. It looks like he does not know about the attraction between Akash and Khushi. Now I am thinking, may be Priya will again blame Manohar for encouraging Arnav to marry Khushi without giving a chance to Akash to express his feelings for Khushi.

I noticed Priya and Manohar are unaware of Viraj's association with PSP.

Hmm Vidur and Anjali, interesting combination. I speculated that Arnav will be fighting against Senior Rawat. Scratch senior Rawat, make it Junior Rawat. If that happens, how will Khushi and Anjali react to that?

Last but not least, what was Aman game plan? Where did his sensibilities go, while dilly dallying with Payal? There is surely something wrong with him.

Priya could never forgive Manohar and for could she love Arnav. But can you hold it against himself.

As a matter of fact, Manohar did think of Khushi and Arnav and not Akash and Khushi? Why?

Vidur may not be an opponent to Arnav, but an ally.

This was by far the most revelations filled chapter of Withered, till date.

1. Manohar loved/loves only Aarti.

2. Arnav and Manohar never had a happy relationship.

3. Priya always hated Arnav.

4. Payal was born before Manohar left Priya and married Aarti.

5. Khushi will make sure that she doesnt bear a child to Arnav, not now.

Hmm, now with so many cards open, what can be said about the dwindling life of Arnav Kapoor. He is living in a bubble and doesnt wanna peep out of it.

And there are people and forces working for and against him It will be interesting to see, where Manohar and Khushi land up wrt Arnav's life which is a tug of war.

And the new entry, Vidur Rawat. Boy, I LOVE the name. He comes across as the Saarthi of Arnav and Anjali. Is his role similar to what it was in Mahabharata?

@bold- couldnt have said it better. Arnav hs been very honest and upfront about his colourful past, unlike Khushi, whose pushed it under the carper and not really dealt with it.

This time around, we all weigh more for Arnav than against him.

I loved your theory about Priya-Mano-Aarti. I think, by far Manohar has landed himself in trouble and how. All his kids are against him, maybe not Akash, but how much of a respite is that.

Raji ji, your Hindi has taken a hit. Vidur was in Mahabharata the man who was against Kauravas, and Vidur here is anti Viraj. Of course, Arnav will be pitted against Viraj, and Anju and Khushi will be party to it.

Like I said, he will play his namesake.

I am not too deep into Mahabharata, but, at the moment Viraj is expelled from NSP, so how can he stand for NSP? And Arnav will be pitted against some one from NSP, right? The most logical choice is either Papa Rawat or Beta Rawat, which is Vidur.

If something changes in the future, then the choice of candidature will also change for NSP.

My heart goes out to Khushi. A simple girl who had dreamt of a simple hardworking principled man whose wealth would be his righteousness whom she could love and live life happily ever after. Alas that was not to be.

She fell in love with Akash who was ‘Principled’ hardworking man, who unfortunately never revealed by words or deeds about his feelings if any for Khushi. If she were someone like the bold Payal, Khushi could have confronted Akash, but alas her upbringing and modesty forbade her from taking this step thus plummeting her into an unwanted unlovable relationship with the wealthy womanizer Arnav who didn’t work a day in his life but lived on the wealth of his stepfather Manohar. When confronted by the prospect of marrying Arnav, what could poor Khushi do? Could she disrespect her mentor Manoharji or disobey her dominant mother Garima? Like Garima said she couldn’t wait for Akash forever and couldn’t put up a counterproposal for Akash to Manohar.

She had no choice but to marry Arnav who professed to love her and do everything in his power to keep Khushi happy. Surprising Khushi, he went ahead and ensured that the consummation of marriage happened only after Khushi was ready. This shows Arnav really cared for Khushi and her happiness.

If only Khushi would have been able to let Arnav know about her preference for Akash. By putting off the confession deeming the same as irrelevant, Khushi is digging a grave for the relationship that she shares with Arnav.
