I think this is what they are trying to show. It doesn't make sense to me, if I had been in place of Shaira, I would have gotten Noor arrested for threatening to commit suicide, after this she is police's responsibility not mine 😂

The reason I am saying that something will happen between Noor and Azaan, which will lead to a decision by Shaira, not something romantic in nature but something to signify Noor's presence in Azaan's life.

Shaira doesn't know Noor but she was told that for her to marry Azaan, Noor's approval was important. Noor can physically assault Shaira in name of her Zidd, and Azaan will bow down to her asking Razia to take Shaira away from there. Where will one see a servant's daughter assaulting a princess? I don't think Queen Elizabeth's maid's daughter can slap and push Prince William or Prince Harry's wife. Ridiculous.

If we leave this dynamic of their relationship and see Noor as Azaan's friend, again who will expect his wife to beg or seek his friend's approval and if she has to tolerate physical abuse to keep him with her? Azaan brought her from her country, promised her love and respect, it is his responsibility to make sure Shaira feels loved and secure in this relationship. This girl has been very understanding, not feeling insecure seeing him intimate with Noor. I personally would not be as comfortable with someone like Noor around me, not because she is close to my husband but because people who are muhfat like her can create a difficult living environment, they don't know when and where they should open their mouth, they don't have a sense of boundary or privacy.

In this Shaira is not too good to be true but Azaan has not given her a reason to doubt himself. They have been in a relationship for 5 years and he had every opportunity to marry Noor if he wanted to, but he did not, albeit Noor is a very important person for this family.

I believe Shaira won't tell Azaan about Noor's demand, how I wish she does and they make this decision together. I don't know if there are rules regarding Mehr

I am not taking sides Nora.😆 I am watching the show for Arjit but you know my thoughts on the story and characters.

Shayra sees the importance Noor has in Azaan life and yes, the assault on her would be unacceptable and unbelievable in real life or that her approval is even required.

I agree. No wife or fiance could tolerate Noor's behaviour or intrusion to this extent. The writers have presented special circumstances so that audience has sympathy for Noor but that does not excuse abusing someone or what she said to Razia Begum as well as Azaan.

Azaan has given Shayra no reason to doubt but till now they were in London, now she is experiencing his life with the family and Noor. She was trying to make her home and build new relationships but then this tragedy happened. She will have self doubt and there will be conflict for her, especially due to her conscious. I do not want her to simply ask Azaan and he marry Noor. He should know the truth and I want his character to be more proactive and aware...

I am not taking sides either, I do have empathy for Shaira, I can easily put myself in her condition and understand her psychological condition 😂

Azaan is a very sorted male lead, I agree with you, he should not just be a hot vegetable who is stuck between two wives. He is a man, I want to see him as nawab. Razia had to take responsibility of Bahu Begum because her husband left and the next in line of succession Azaan was too young to take responsibility, now he has to be the King. I want to see a proactive character as you said.

@Keerthi - Hi

Can I join the discussion???

Shayra was a thorn in Noor’s way to become begum. She is just using the situation to get what she wants. She is a very selfish, manipulative and calculative person. She will keep on using this incident to put Shayra down, make her guilt ridden, play with her emotions and get things done in her way. Whatever the reason may be even if she is in trauma or something else but snatching someone else husband is not justifiable.

Everyone is welcome 🤗

I had a little doubt regarding Noor's manipulative and calculative nature but upcoming track makes it very clear.

She always wanted to be Bahu Begum, she said that she gets everything she wants by hook or by crook. I don't see her mourning for her mother, she was fixated on Shaira and her taunts to Razia-Azaan were about Shaira being Razia's daughter in law and Azaan's wife.

I tried hard to put myself in her position. Shaira has to leave Azaan makes more sense to me than Azaan has to marry Noor from perspective of a woman who is out for revenge because she lost her mother. Shaira with Noor marrying Azaan is not losing Azaan so what is the purpose of this revenge?

If I think from a different perspective, Shaira forces Azaan to marry Noor and she gets everything she wanted, title, power and money. She is just using her mother's death to guilt trip Shaira into giving her the life she always wanted

Some might not accept my views. From the beginning I found her to be calculative and very cautious in her actions. Accepting Shayra and Azaan relationship, not having a second thought in accepting Faisal, mehendi ceremony only increased my doubt on her. She did not want to get into bad books of Razia and Azaan. I still have my doubt that she is behind the fire accident?? Only thing was she did not expect to loose her mom. Let’s wait and see...

She is just using the name revenge and emotionally blackmailing Shayra to get what she wants. Remember Shayra said she cannot share Azaan with anyone. She is trying to burden Shayra with her accusations and snatch Azaan from her. She wants money, fame, power and most of all she is possessive about Azaan.
