I am not a fan of Akshay but I still admire him for what he did for our martyred Army men and their families. He is annoying at times but still better than so called superstars who have nothing to contribute for well being of the nation but open their mouth when it's time to diss our nation, whether about intolerance remarks or some selective outrage.

I liked what he said about tweeting and doing nothing rather than doing and not tweeting.

I agree with you, but just wanted to share that Aamir and Kiran is also doing a lot for Maharashtrian village having drought conditions. His work in Paani foundation is applause worthy.

Don't know much about the other superstars though.

He's right. What's the point of playing 'tweet tweet' when you cannot do anything? It's annoying when something happens, celebs start getting tag to condemn it, as if 'no tweet' means no condemn. Twitter is like jungle raj. But this time reason behind silence from many biggies is not 'they want to do something', real reason is BJP member is behind this entire unnao kand.

To be honest, I stopped following Aamir and Kiran after that intolerance and Satyamev Jayate controversy. I personally find Aamir quite fake and I always thought whatever he did after that was just for damage control. It's just my personal opinion though.

It's the whole stupid 'millennial je suis bla bla' mentality.. god those unicorns 🤢
