No amount of awareness campaigns are enough for removing stigma related to mental illness. Am glad she is doing her bit and making people take notice. Depression is real and can happen to anyone. Her talking about it over and over again about the symptoms will help people know what it is and how it feels like.. helping patients and their caregivers diagnose the issue at the earliest and get help.

if something is doing good for someone needy, it is okay even if the person has some ulterior motives.

As I say always, even if Akki and Sallu charities have publicity motives, but at the end of the day kisi gareeb ka toh faida ho raha hai na.

Same here, even if Deepika is using depression to divert, koi ek na chodu ke samajh mai toh ayega ki depression is not a joke, and might start treating someone suffering from it from his family and friends or colleague with love and care.

Every ones medication is different. So, it's important to consult a doctor, if they are depressed . They check your brain and give medications accordingly .
