In fact bringing my comment here, you have done the biggest mistake and contradicted your topic, Cause I am one of the few who are disappointed with her this step........ and constantly speaking up about it......

DP has never been given a free pass. In fact, there was a time when she used to be bashed for everything under the sun which made some members like me take her side from time to time. It’s another matter altogether that she’s outdone herself this time and even I can’t stand her anymore. 😆

So , you make your own free pass to criticise her instead of attacking fans. Trust me, its useless to argue and create topics about fans. Make topics regarding actor or actress and do whatever you want to do in that thread. Just dont take anyone's name, dont take indirect digs on fans. happy criticising!

Whenever DP's PR spreads a negative blind about some other actors or about being offered almost all movies, her PR gets blamed. Even now, with her latest article blaming her fans and 'Me Too' victims for making an issue out of the Luv Ranjan movie issue, her PR is solely blamed.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't her PR agency supposed to inform/ discuss with her before releasing news or any PR exercise? And if feels that her PR is releasing false news/ doing things that she doesn't approve of, shouldn't she have fired her PR long back? Or is it too much to at least make a statement that she disagrees with her PR and rein her PR in. I can't understand why her PR is solely being blamed, when she was the one who hired that particular PR agency?

And I'm sure if some other actors' PR did the same antics DP's PR is doing, the actor would have been bashed like hell. So why is PR solely being used to excuse DP? Even if she isn't the one directly instigating the PR agency, shouldn't she take some responsibility and stop them? Please explain the contradiction to me.

I agree, it comes a point where if you are a grown up woman with an established career and name, hiding behind your PR is not possible anymore. A star like her can definitely choose who to work with. And if she is really, genuinely clueless about what her pr teams does, then she is still to blame for being so ignorant.
