while I applaud her film choices for which she definitely needs to be lauded, she has attempted grievous sins on Television, there's absolutely no doubt that today's poor TV content's responsibility should be taken care by her. TV was always progressive even in doordarshan times, then Zee TV came and produced shows like Tara which was such a bold show for national television, even Sony made shows like 'jaane kahan mera jigar gaya ji' which was based on film industry and was an explosive show yet noone objected at that time. Today anyone and everyone takes objection is anything.

So now we see just the bahus that are meant to cry and solve all the worldly problems as if only they feel responsible to solve them yet end up getting insulted by the saasu-ma, pati or so and so..almost every TV show runs on this line and has been running since so many years all thanks to kekta didi...your blasphemy shall not be forgiven.

I agree. Indian TV in the 90s was superb. So many bold and pushing the envelope kind of shows. I grew up on that. And ya no one was really complaining at all! Of all of Ekta shows I did like Kasauti until a point.

I sometimes wonder if these trolling/retaliating tweet/trolling/defensive articles are just PR.
