The queen of content has mastered the art of producing content for the masses to consume and how! Being a pioneer in mass content creation the director-producer comes across trolls, as every other celebrity does, but as graceful as ever, Ekta Kapoor puts her view across in her latest tweet.

It’s an excuse for making JHK. She knows “massy”, clearly she does it on TV. She expected JHK to be radical not artistic or commercial. It’s what she intended regardless of nonpaid reviews and BO.

But why bother saying this while also paying for reviews, SM campaign, and inflating box office?

so she's saying that despite the flak she gets for making regressive shows,

she also backs unconventional films like 'The Dirty Picture, Lipstick under my burkha, Lootera, Love Sex or Dokha and now Judgementall Hai Kya'

while I applaud her film choices for which she definitely needs to be lauded, she has attempted grievous sins on Television, there's absolutely no doubt that today's poor TV content's responsibility should be taken care by her. TV was always progressive even in doordarshan times, then Zee TV came and produced shows like Tara which was such a bold show for national television, even Sony made shows like 'jaane kahan mera jigar gaya ji' which was based on film industry and was an explosive show yet noone objected at that time. Today anyone and everyone takes objection is anything.

So now we see just the bahus that are meant to cry and solve all the worldly problems as if only they feel responsible to solve them yet end up getting insulted by the saasu-ma, pati or so and so..almost every TV show runs on this line and has been running since so many years all thanks to kekta didi...your blasphemy shall not be forgiven.

only if you leave Television completely but the damage has been done, and others follow the same path as yours so it can't be rectified in any other way

She wanted this article published. Read the article. She is in no way running away from her “regressive” TV success 😆. She’s touting it - naming names of those very programs. This is a straight up PR article touting her success across “all three platforms” meant to stem any negative talk or press from any imminent public failure - whatever that might be 😉.
