Is this movie really about mental illness?
“This movie is a mockery of the causes, symptoms and treatment of psychosis. It shows the protagonist, Bobby (Kangana Ranaut), developing delusions and suffering from a persecution complex as a consequence of watching her parents die. A traumatic event like this can lead to depression, and perhaps temporary paranoia. But an acute psychosis like Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder is a life long mental illness that develops without reason in a person’s late teens or early twenties, and which almost always has a genetic trigger. It is a sad and difficult illness that can be managed with anti-psychotic medication, but which profoundly affects the person’s professional and personal life, as well as the lives of his or her care givers.
In this context, 'Judgementall Hai Kya’ is a cruel and exploitative film. It is presented as a golden opportunity for the leading actress to play a nutcase, with as much drama and eccentricity she can summon from her own very public life. As for the makers, their primary task is to confirm that her mimicry skills provides entertainment.” - https://www.openthemagazine.com/article/cinema/judgementall-hai-kya
“I spent an hour and a half after last night's preview interviewing a clinical psychologist because Judgementall Hai Kya traps us in a web spun out of our own ignorance about "acute psychosis" and "dissociative identity disorder" (DID). First, I learnt that "acute psychosis" is used incorrectly here. Second, DID is chucked in as a red herring - who exactly has it is left to us to conclude. There are two possibilities. At the point at which DID is first mentioned, the film is clearly trying to steer us in the direction of one particular character, but it turns out that that person does not display any symptoms of DID as I now understand it from an expert. How on earth is a layperson in the audience to know that though? Are we expected to interview medical professionals after watching the film, or to have prior, in-depth knowledge of such matters? If not, then should we conclude that mental health is a mere gimmick for this team? Later, the film steers us towards another character, but in retrospect I realise that it would not have made an inch of a difference to the plot whether that person had DID or not, whether that person was mentally unwell or not - everything that happened in the story could have happened either way. A criminal does not have to be given the excuse of a mental disorder to explain away their crimes - sometimes people do evil because evil is what they are.”

Please rise for the only true Kween Kangana.
Although, I have to agree with the tweet, Rangoli retweeted. The title change was unnecessary drama, trying to act heedful and few days later they exposed their hypocrisy with that boomerang.
Now she wants their help but she was insulting them few weeks ago. I wonder what runs through the heads of these two.
Didn't they hold a screening for indian psychology society and that is when they were asked to change the title so why is she just blaming Deepika and her foundation for this?
Can she just zip it 🙄
Is this movie really abt fighting stigma against mental illness?

Awaiting their 'corporation'🤣ROFL.

It was the bonafide association that had issue. TLLL wouldn’t be able to change a title of a movie simply by having problems when they had one.
She should ,if she has the guts, then tag the association that started question.
Such annoying entity 🤮🤢 Blame it Pancholi and now that Joshi .. yuck 🤢
she is right, they made a big hungama without even listening to the other side. In fact another movie Paagal was releasing, Badshah released a song called paagal.
It looked like a deliberate target , now when its revealed that this movie deals with the stigma with how society looks at mentally ill people and tries to show the judgemental side of society .
Not one tweet of appreciation from the TLL and Mental health org.
Many doctors have appreciated the movie.
