Super 30 is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who runs an educational program called Super 30 for underprivileged children to prepare them for IIT entrance exam.
In a recent interview, Hrithik Roshan expressed his happiness over Super 30 box-office success. Talking about the same, Hrithik told Hindustan Times, "Yes, there is a feeling of satisfaction and of immense happiness. It is similar to how I felt when my first film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) had released. Box-office collections do have some sort of an importance, as they indicate that the audiences have accepted your work and connected to it in some way."
