I love this one ALD!! It is beautifuuuulllll! And has that 80's vibe to it, which you love so much. There was a comment below it which was just...❤️

My dad is the kind of person who doesnt like the music of this era, but one day, I put this song on the megaphone and he said to me "esa canción esta chida" wich is "that song is amazing" in english. One of his most favorite things to do is to drive at night in the highway by long long hours with us, his family. For him, it's quite surreal when he listens to that song while driving in the darkness of the woods, with a clear night sky and the moon light. Also, wherever he listens to that song on another place, he lift up his arms and pretend he is flying through the universe. My dad is a very special man, because of him, my brother and I became artists in a world where oportunities are out of chance in a kind of poor neighborhood in Mexico. But now, he is proud of us, I am an illustrator and my brother is a very talented photographer, I think my father would have been a great artist if it wasn't for the misfortune of his family...well, if you read this, I thank you, I think my father deserves everything in the world.

Edit - ALD this one is on a loop. I can't explain how much this resonates and listening to this on a drive would exactly be the way I would visualise myself enjoying it. This one just struck a chord in my heart.

.. all the fans of the channel say the same Deja.. it's hard to describe her playlist.. she's handpicked the music, that is just... the thing.. it just is ...Alona music (like I and many fans can only manage to refer) ❤️ and cannot really be categorized other than in general terms like Alternative/Indie or bedroom pop or dreamwave or anything, but that is just not it, is it????????? the songs she posts bear a strong imprint that is hard to describe....! 😃 that strong imprint can only be registered in my mind as 'Alona Chemerys' besides whatever it makes me feel.. :p

No I meant the entire Alona playlist and the likes of them. They are the kind of music that you can do nothing but just absorb. I guess that's what it's purpose is. To be and let you just be. To unwind and not think about anything but just be in the present moment and just soak it all in. What better compliment could it get when the receptor does nothing but just soaks in your music. Mission accomplished I guess.

Like I said, no other music made me feel the way like this kinda did. Made me want to just be and enjoy the present moment listening to it.

Sink to the floor is not a song, it is an emotion. Faaak! I love it or what.

That is why I felt the commentary had a sarcastic sort of place in the entire song, because if you are a prisoner of your mind, the self help ideologies seldom help. Especially if it is an aggressive sort of an approach. You know the blanketing the current thinking with a new one. It might help some, but I think the singer isn't that one.

Edit - I wanted to post this last night itself, but I thought I'll do it the next day. And atm I'm not able to gather my thoughts properly. So sorry if I'm sounding a bit incoherent right now. But please let me know if you understood the whole significance of the Alan Watt commentary in the song.

ah yes, that's a way to look at it.. I thought the singer was in a state of thinking..., where he thought about what people generally advise (in the voice of Alan Watts) but it isn't so simple and he is singing his own thoughts relating against what is commonly advised.. he is pondering.. like showing what's inside him, while hearing out the society or what 'wisdom' tells (wisdom as is generally associated with what Alan says).. but it does seem satirical, I get it ya.. I can see it how you mean too 😃 ..that sarcasm or irony, I can see it that way too! Infact it makes more sense.. Like the singer says what's within him and Alan's commentary is like a mockery at the general aggressive advises meted out, which look so superficial when the person is actually in a state of some sort of flux (mentally, emotionally, etc)? Like duuuuhhh, if only it were that simple.. (hope i made sense)

it is one of those must listen songs on a drive! :) listening on drives feels surreal Deja.. especially at night.. do listen to this when you're in a moving locomotive.. I never want those moments to end.. one of those songs that makes my heart bursts from inside..

Oh Deja, I meant the entire Alona Chemerys playlist too... the music that makes me want to sink to the floor and lay still sponging and soaking in all the melody :p ...so I kinda went with the song you posted saying we could call Alona Chemerys music "Sink to the floor" music.. hehe.. :p
