Neither Rakshit - Drishti nor Shikhar - Divya started from a good place. Drishti at the least gave Rakshit a choice to walk away from her in the Mandap while Divya was completely in the dark. So the foundation point is moot.

What stands in advantage of Shikhar - Divya is that Divya does like him , if not completely in love with him. I am not sure if she trusts him but she does like him. Now if Shikhar decided to keep a level head (i.e; the creatives decide that people are also capable of maturity) then their relationship can definitely workout. The actors do have chemistry.

Yes ...she does like him but still something is always missing from her side when it comes to shikhar.

Given the trend in Indian telly though I doubt it. It looks more than likely that Shikhar will veer to the side of bad guys soon clearing the path for Romi- Divya.

Romi- Divya do make an adorable friendship and that’s a track worth exploring but not one I trust Indian creatives with.

I think by putting romi divya together they will do another blunder. The endgame shud b shivya only.

As for the Shergills, well at the risk of sounding like a broken record - this is Indian television, do not expect sense. If they missed the larger than life tail and scales of Chipkali , I guess she will have to dance in her full naked lizard form for them to understand that she is the animal. But seeing as this story has had fewer non sensical tracks than is usual for such stories, I guess we will just have to ignore this one.

Complex love stories are a treat to watch but hardly something ITV creatives have ever done with grace.

Shikhar- Divya - Romi is an angle with so much potential for exploration. Shikhar’s jealousy , his bond Divya, Divya’s growing camaraderie with Romi -not romantic more on a platonic level but well worth exploring, I mean a woman can have multiple types of relationship with males who are not her father /brother / husband , Divya is a present generation girl, she is more than capable of having a healthy friendship (if the creatives understand this concept that is) . My guess is that the creatives won’t go into this off beat path, it requires thinking way outside the regular tropes of ITV.
