To me the Title Withered appears to be more appropriate for Arnav than Khushi

The beginning chapters made us more sympathetic towards Khushi for her struggles in life.

Arnav seemed more happy go lucky types, wanting to while away his time in frivolous pursuits, squandering his family's hard earned money...

This chapter gave us an insight into Arnav. Why is he like this. Arnav has been a child and a man parched of the main source of living that is love. His father had been busy in making his millions and his mom was the only one who showered her entire love upon him also making him aware if her despair at having a husband never at home to share a few loved moments with her.

After passing away of his father, poor Arnav must have thought that he would have his mom's undivided attention but alas she married Manohar who actually loved Aarti n Arnav but to Young Arnav, he was the devil who partook in his mother's love. After Arti's death, circumstances were created whilst Manohar had to betray Arnav and was forced to go to his first wife and his daughter.

The lifeline then was offered to Arnav by Shyam and Aman. Though Aman may have initially been Arnav's well wisher, he seemed to have been swayed by Shyam to push Arnav into politics.

To a young Arnav who did not see the ways of world clearly, this felt like a true love and understanding from an important person like Biswas egged on by his own friend Aman

Arnav's free ways were actually his way of hiding his hurt and anguish. Manihar could not understandArnav's plight and went on advising Arnav like he would to a rational person like Akash. Both Payal and Arnav are more sensitive people who needed to be dealt with Kid gloves. Alas Arnav did what he does the best that is revolt.

Unto thus situation un walks Khushi a beautiful daughter to a principled father. What would Arnav do but hold on to her like a Drowning man clutching to straw??? Luckily Manohar could understand Arnav's state and was able to convince Khushi to marry him, knowing he would be in good hands. Arnav began to start really living, thriving in his love for Khushi in the illusion that Khushi too lo ed him. Though she never voiced her feelings, the fact that she never rejected his advances and was accepting his protective habits and his extravagances would have convinced him of this.

Khushi knows she has a mammoth task ahead of her ti remove blunders from Arnav's eyes.

Today Arnav us a man secure in his belief that he is loved by his wife and a stellar political career is ahead of him. He is really just ripe to learn about life and that too in a hard way.

Khushi's decision to join K&A already seems to him like the first step in betrayal. Akash's and Khushi's working partnership is sure to make him see red. Khushi will need to convince all in K&A bu her words and actions of her undying love for Arnav otherwise Akash is sure to be at logger heads with Arnav and Manohar.

Shyam will slowly show his true colours and Aman probably will support Shyam making ASR rear his head to finally see the reality before him. At that time he may feel that Payal, his baby sis is the only solace for him. Maybe he will realise then the true worth of Manohar and his love and also realise that he had been barking up the wrong tree all along about the murder of his mother. Manohar had loved Arti. Why would he want to endanger her? Shyam had everything to lose by the Happy life that Manohar led.

Breaking apart Manohar and Arnav using Arti was his best move. Destroying Arnav totally by moulding him as his puppet ensured the annihilation of Manohar. Shyam must not have taken Khushi into this equation.

Arnav's colourful past being revealed by Aman to Khushi gives a new meaning. Maybe Aman was trying to drive a wedge between Arhi as per Shyam's plans.

The betrayal by Shyam and Aman will hurt Arnav a lot and in his state he is bound to misunderstand Khushi and her intentions and her love. I feel Khushi will stand up and decide to hold the bull by its horns and if necessary go away from Arnav to prove to him that she was all along right about the devious Biswas

I have a feeling that Khushi will see a much worse version of ASR (as compared to the show).

The Withered Rose will then have to be nurtured by the true love of our own Khushi.

Sorry N, the long hiatus from here has addled my brain and I have spewed many irrelevant thoughts here

I so agree with you that Khushi will be witnessing an ASR worse than the show, for she will be unleashing the beast, as she has kept away her past and feeling that she harboured for Akash from Arnav.

And for a man whose only been honest, I cannot and will not hold it against him if he leaves Khushi or walks away from her, even if it kills him.

Shyam, I think more than him, Aman is a culprit. Dont know why, I have these vibes from him.

Yes for Arnav, Khushi's secret will be considered as a betrayal, I think more than the revelation it's the time when he will get to know matters more..

Right now Arnav considers Aman, Khushi and Shyam are his people though he is aware of Shyam's and Aman's nature to an extend, I.e., they are grey but he believes Khushi is all white..

Imagine the day he comes to know his well wisher is using him and his friend is not as he thought him to be. Then he will be left with Khushi feeling at least one person is for what he is.. Then if he finds out that Khushi was forced to marry him and Akash was her first choice, Shit I can foresee the extent of his heartbreak man🥺😞

No I meant even if Akash did not know/reciprocate Khushi's feelings also, Arnav will misunderstand Akash's motive. I know we have to know about Khushi-Akash story first.

When Arnav can't see through Manohar's motive through his actions imagine how he will react for Khushi's secret..

I Know man and I hope our Arshi separation is misused by Shyam like Arnav's hatred to Manohar is misused. I think Khushi will step in then

But yes, if we assume Akash is the nice big brother, even then it would be tough for him to pull Arnav away from Shyam. Infact, I have a feeling that Khushi will be the one, to do so.

As of now, I think Akash is more practical than others at least emotionally.

He is more observant and takes decision wisely (like how he suggested Manohar about reaching Arnav through Khushi) unlike Arnav who goes with his heart and trust people.

Yes Akash helping Arnav is only for Manohar but at least he cracks the way to reach Arnav and help him out rather blaming him like Khushi and Manohar! Khushi is the key for Arnav now!!
