I think in the original script for this show, they had planned long term for Jahnvi slowly taking her revenge, thats why the Manohar track was around a month, and he was just the man who did the dirty work.

Jahnvi had to slowly work up to the commissioner, also Chanda, then finally PK.

All this itself, would've taken 6 months, at least. Even with hurry, till the 50th episode everything was fine with the show, at least I looked forward to the episode with excitement.

But now, I kinda dread watching the next day's episode, wondering how low their characters would go.

Because like you said, Pooja has her revenge. Even Kabir knows what his Dad did, and how his Dad ruined her life. So, their tussle seems kind of petty to me.

Its just been 4 episodes, and I am already exhausted by it. Their back and forth, while ShreZain are amazing, is looking tacky, fighting over money.

I mean, Pooja lost her Dad, in return she only bankrupted them, that seems hella less of a revenge, and for this alone Kabir fighting her is like.....????

And Pooja also, taunting over wealth, when she has seen poverty, is also like......???

How are they going to take this show forward? Other than the Laadla way, which is ughhhhh cringey!!

Honestly, I'll be glad if it can have the standard run of 100 episodes and Pooja leaves the Mittals and finds peace at the end. I just want her to be somewhat happy at the end, and thats it. atm I care for no other character (except Amma and Sonali).

OMG, have u watched this movie? It's an old one , so the plot line might be too patriarchal. But is the show following it to a T?

This show is cursed with adaptation and inspiration from the onset. I think it's lack of originality is ruining the show more than anything else.

That's why the writers keep experimenting one after another, like whatever gets them TRPs.

Till that episode I was cheering for Pooja but after that scene I am not able to feel sorry for Pooja.

Come on at least he followed and kept quiet knowing her intentions( that was another fake drama created by jhanvi),in Tamil I will tell" Vera evanavadhu dhruv eduthula irundha thookki poottu mudhichirpaan"( if it was someone else,would have chucked her badly. If he had not tracked her phone,madam would not be alive now.

If a person is good and cares for wife,then he is fishy,spineless ,grey.if he behaves opposite,he is criminal.how on earth a man should be???

In what way he is spineless?

There is a limit for showing the hatred..

Yes I watched the film, I think you can watch it on yo*tube. Pooja character reminds me of Sridevi, arrogrant, haughty but eventually Sridevi character fell in love with Anil character in the end after Anil saved her from her factory manager and ger rivals. She became nice, complete opposite of her character.

They seem to following the movie slightly but still, how does this marriage happen, how can you marry somone you once loved and called bhabhi. This is where the revenge storyline will end up with. Marriage before love. Dhruv will become most likely evil and join the manager and her rivals side.

Thanks, will look it up. Yeah, I got the gist from wikipedia. Was scared that I wont like it. Meaning that even DDLJ, KKHH and the likes make me cringe. So I didnt know if I could take older movies , my threshold for bullshit is very low, apologies for my language.

But this show going the movie's way will be very sad. Not that I am expecting miracles, but still. Sigh. Dhruv becoming evil and teaming up against Pooja sounds very probable for now. Fingers crossed.

In the future if Pooja and Kabir really fall in love like the articles suggested, he will definitely give it back to her. 😛
