Lol, that must be it. For her, global expansion = living like PC. There have been some television actresses and actresses in south too who have married foreigners, even Sania Mirza for instance. I think she had no idea what it meant, her expressions were really funny as she was trying hard to think of something to say.

Most bollywood heroines in that sense would have answered something nonsensical. the smarter ones would ask to clarify, "global expansion in what way".

And also people like Irrfan Khan, Om Puri have acted in global films without needing to migrate, kuch bhi.

AR Rehman is another acclaimed global artist. Am sure there are many more, but the ignorance towards the same is mind-boggling.

Pretty sure she wasn't. She gave similar answers before. I remember soon after XXX when Masand interviewed her in early 2017 she made it clear that she wouldn't move overseas permanently. And KJo said Deepveer are too clingy to survive long distance so her answer made sense to me. This girl is inarticulate but this has gotta be one of her most clear answers so I don't get what the fuss is about 😆

Since you haven’t seen the clip let me summarize it for you .. She simply said she was not ready to be uprooted from India and that she wasn’t ready to settle outside of India. She was sure she wanted to marry someone from India ( Ranveer.. duh) ..

Not sure why people give Deepika the benefit of the doubt. This comment from her was completely unnecessary. Deepika has shaded Priyanka numerous times and this is likely another one.
