Why is Deepika shading PC here? - Page 7

She's not shading anyone. She's just stupid and inarticulate and doesn't put her words together well.

The reality is that you really need to move and park yourself in LA or NYC if you're serious about a Hollywood career. You have to become a Sophie Chowhury type chief guest at every event, every party and every dinner and network like crazy. Movie offers don't come in boardrooms. They come through friends and acquaintances that you meet at these places. You also have to be ready to always be up for auditions and meetings at short notice.

Deepika simply can't do those things because she has to live in India. She has a husband whose home base is Mumbai. She's also not westernized enough to just pack up and leave her country. Her HW career will always be limited because of that and she's fine with it. There is no big HW expansion in her mind.
