Forgive me please because I was speechless today. It took me some time to gather my thoughts. AM were magical, breathtaking, spellbinding, enchanting and so beautiful today. The episode begins with Abhir caressing her hand and cradling it near his face all her attempts to leave fail.
“Abhir please mera haath chod doh na” She pleads with him like you plead with a child. Its so gentle yet so sweet at the same time.
“Hmm” The quiet hmm that Abhir utters here is so adorable.
She tells him that she has to go back home. Now that he is fine she finally remembers that she has to go back to reality.
“Tum yahin ruk jaon na” He then makes a sincere request that comes straight from his heart. Like an innocent child he asks her to stay.
“Main….tum chaatay ho main yahin ruk jaon “
Notice how she puts emphasis on Main she is still in disbelief that he wants her to stay. She is still in awe of why he has chosen her. Why does he want her to stay? Everyone in her life has left her staying back for someone is an alien concept for her. She asks him an innocent question too that do you want me to stay.
He then says:
“Hah Mishti hamesha kay liay” He wants her to stay with him forever and that folks is how you say I love you without even saying it.
“Theek hain tum kehtay ho toh thodi dar ruk jaati hu” She gives a slight smile and he steals a quick glance at her and then closes his eyes blissfully and caresses her hand lovingly. Mish gal we all know you wanted to stay like Abhir didn’t even need to say it but its nice to hear it na. The mood then shifts the tone of the scene changes as Mish recalls the horrific memories of last night.
“Mujhay pata hi nahi tha kay mujay itna darr lag sakta hain jitna kal laga tha. Abhir woh kaanch, tumharri car agar hum time say tumhari car say na nikal tay. Toh tumhari car blast ho gayi thi aura gr humay thodi si bhi dar ho jaati toh. Abhir tumhay kiya zarrorat thi itnay buray Mausam main cyclone say ladh kar sab kay liay khana lanay ki? Agar tumhay kuch ho jata toh?” Mishti has pretended to be strong her whole life. She has guarded her heart so fiercely and been abandoned by her parents at such a young age that her whole life she believed that nothing could faze her or make her scared but last night for the first time ever she was legit scared. That glass shard had not only pierced his body it had pierced that wall too that she had build around her heart. For a minute time had stood still as her only purpose was to get him out safely because she knew that saving him meant she was saving herself. She shudders to think what would have happened had she not reached in time. She then berates him for putting himself in danger. Why oh why did he put her through this? Why did he step out for such a menial task in such bad weather. What if something happened and right on cue Abhir gets up and gazes intensely in to her eyes. The sunlight shining in the room heightens the scene how beautifully does it shine on both of them who themselves are glistening because of the love they have for each other. Abhir only has one question why did she risk her life for him. Is this friendship or something more?
“Toh?” Uff this toh and the way Shaheer says it is phenomenal. Its difficult to look at him when he is looking at her so passionately. No,she won’t be able to answer him today and she knows if she keeps on looking at those orbs in front of her she will melt but today is not the day so she instantly looks away and tell him to let her go. Jab Insaan Ankahy churta hain toh dil main kuch kuch toh hota hain.
“Abhir mera haath chodo mujay ghar jana hain.”
But Abhir will not budge he needs to know. He has had enough of her not acknowledging her feelings. He wants to know that why did she fight toe and nail to save him. Why did she put her own life in jeopardy for him. He even says that if you tell me why I will tell you who my painitng wali is. He holds her hand so firmly and asks her again that why did she come after him? Their blissful moment is disturbed when they hear Meenu approaching.
“Misthi baton itnay kharab Mausam main cyclone say ladh kar tum meray peechay kyun ahayi… Bolo Mishti iss baat ka jawaab day doh aur main tumhay bata doon ga meri painting main kon hain..bolo Mishti meray peechay kyun ahayi thi?”
“Abhir mera haath chodo agar un ho nay humay dekh liya toh” She instantly becomes frightened right now she doesn’t want anyone too see them like this. She is not ready yet to face all the consequences.
“Dekhnay doh” But Abhir is because he has already realized the depth of his feelings and is willing to go to any extent to make sure they end up together.
“Agar woh aha gaye Kuku kay liay problem ho jayay gi” Mish then reminds him of the biggest road block in their life that is KMH(Kabab main haddi) KUKU. Notice on how the camera pans on his face and then on their hands and just at the mention of KUKU Abhir lets her go.
She tries to leave quietly but he won’t let that happen.
“In ki wajah say” He tells his family that she is the reason that he is alive today. Don’t want to waste words on Kunal/Ben BAA.
Tum uss waqt Abhir kay saath thi jab hum main say koi bhi uss kay saath nahi tha” I loved how Nanu and Parul focused on the thing that really mattered and decided to thank Mish. I loved how Parul highlighted that Mish was with him when no one else was able to reach him. When parul asks her how were you able to do save him all alone. She gives him a look and his question echoes in her head. She is so flustered that she runs away. The whole moment when Mish is talking to herself is so adorable. She remembers her moments with A.
“Woh jaga toh mujay itni khusi kyun ho rahi thi? Aisay konsay gali main laddo bat gaye thay? Aur abhi main smile par smile kyun kari jar ahi hu mujahy ho kiya gaya hain kuch toh alag hain” She asks herself and smiles. Mish dear I only have one answer for all your queries. Its because you are in love let me break it down for you. You were happy when he woke up because that gave you reassurance that he is actually okay. Surely, the doctor had told you but you needed to be sure for your own self. Gali main laddo ka toh nahi pata par dil main laddo zarror phoot rahay hain. Also when you keep on smiling that means that you finally have a reason for it because very rarely does another human affect us in this way. You are in love and that’s what has changed because Abhir is just not your friend anymore he is something more now. He is the person you will brave any storm for. Mish is so happy that she can’t even help but hug Kuhu of all people lol. She is so confused when Kuhu asks her if she is okay? Is she really?
On a side note loved how Mish wants to say bye to Abhir but hesitates due to his crazy fam and Kuhu. She is still confused as her heart wants to see him and then right on point a child walks in holding red heart shaped balloons and the balloons gently brush her and bring back a plethora of memories. Everything else ceases to exist as she remembers the first time A got her these balloons and how she ended up in his arms. Hulchul hui plays and the song sequence so beautifully captures what Mish is feeling right now. When you are in love it shows because even mundane things become magical. She sees Abhir everywhere. She imagines him to be an earrings seller and do you notice it’s the same earrings that she mistakenly dropped in Kutch and the one that Abhir found. One of the first few little thing that bonded them together. Even Abhir can’t help it as he sings in the hospital. How cutely Mish looks at her hand and remembers how A caressed it. I loved how they showed the feelings of love from the side of three people only AM and Kuhu. They didn’t show Kunal’s pov and I also liked how they set up a contrast while AM can’t contain their excitement. They are so giddy whereas Kuhu’s imagination is a little bit more intimate. Mish is so happy that even Kuhu notices.
“ Mujay toh yay bhi nahi yaad main peechaly baar life main khush kab hui” This line is said so casually yet it has so much depth. At her very core Mish is still that 12 year old girl who can’t fathom why her parents left her? Why? Was she not enough? All moments after that she only pretended to be happy but now this feeling and this guy have opened up her heart in a way even she didn’t think was possible. He makes her happy. Being in love with him makes her happy. When Kuhu asks him about last night she tells her about the gravity of the situation and how die to that reason she was unable to contact everyone.
“Usaay bohot chot lagi thi. Mainay ussay iss halat main pehli baar dekha hain. Who hamesha haasta rehata hain logo ko haastay rehata hain mainay ussay hamesha smile kartay huay deka hain lekin ussay aisay halat main dekh kar merit oh jaan hi nikal gayi thi. Subah toh yay bhi nahi pata tha kay who bach paye gay a nahi aur jab doctor nay bataya kay who bilkul theek hain main tuhmay bata nahi sakh ti main kitni khush thi”
This folks is how you say you are in love without actually saying I love you. Rhea Sharma’s voice modulations in this scene were so on point. The way she conveys her emotional state for one of sheer panic to admiration for Abhir’s nature to her unsung joy when she finally gets to know that he is okay is so beautifully done. What is love? It’s the little things like earrings,red balloons a few reassuring words a bike race, a trip, a painting, a poem the quiet dreams you keep to yourself. They way you linger on the other person when they are not looking. The way you see them everywhere. The way you won't rest until they are okay. When even a hand hold excites you.

Flirty Abhir is my second favorite after poet Abhir or third favorite after painter Abhir okay I can’t pick you guys decide.
A Mish in love however is my fav Mish and a close second is her angry chorni avatar.
