I don't think all journos are part of this guild either. Anyways, they have a choice. It's perfect if only the ones who are free of similar agendas interview Kangana. The others need not.

I really think it's just a publicity stunt by Ekta and Kangana. Their movie gets huge amounts of press, Kangana never apologizes and can claim she beat the media boycott. It's a win-win for them.

Actually, I think this is a marketing strategy now. Lol at how Kangana was saying that there was a lack of external controversy for 'Manikarnika' because the Karni Sena were not offended by that film. Now that the psychiatric associations are appeased, EJG have stepped in at the right time to help with promotions.

Again, wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if that is the goal. After trying to get publicity by clashing with Hrithik didn’t work.

But think on this ...Hrithik wouldn’t let them have the nasty clash they hoped for. The last minute “item” song wasn’t enough to help. What does it say about the quality of this film that Kangana and Ekta think it’s worth it to their reputations to go after this kind of publicity? They clearly think it’s going to sink without a trace if it has to rely on WOM 🤣

Honestly though, I don't think Kangana was behind that film clash even if she was accused of it. She didn't want to do the skin show promo video either but that worked IMO. Plus all of Ekta's friends have promoted the film too online. I'm sure it would do better than the other films around this time like Jabariya Jodi, Arjun Patiala and even super 30. These are all smaller films, JHK included.

What I'm wondering about is the bread and butter of these 'entertainment' journos. Everytime someone mentions Kangana's name it creates headlines, be it Taapsee, Richa or Sonam. It's a fact that even people like Faridoon who are supposedly against her, have been promoting so much of their content with Kangana's name. Everything that Kangoli are attacking, is first sensationalised and created by the media who ask everybody Kangana-related questions. The sisters would do well to start depriving these journos. If only credible media are associating with Kangana now, it's the perfect way to end the cheap drama, feuds, etc. that we are all used to seeing in the name of 'entertainment'. Taali ek haath se nahi bajti. Kangoli attacked Taapsee and Richa but the backlash should be on Faridoon types. So let's hope the boycott continues. Kangana called out one agenda-driven journo and considering how saturated the media is with her content, she can actually afford to do that especially with the entertainment journos. This letter could be a tantrum, they should fear for their own survival now but it's looking like a good outcome inadvertently. Even Kangana's image will improve and the media circuses will have to find or create a new sensation. Also, since Kangoli have such a powerful voice and presence on Twitter now, do they need the media as much? There actually is no dearth of it, even if a few boycott.
