The MIL condition is just a theory as an example like what if someone, maybe her mother went through so much mental trauma that ended up in mental asylum or worse still she was not mad but was proved to be mad by mittals or something similar. It is just a theory but something like this would justify MIL's illness right after jhanvi came into the house.As for Aarush, I also wish she does not do anything to him. But when her plans will fail she might have to take drastic steps. Kavya might be the one whom she will target hence the fight.

As of now I truly believe her character will be shown in a positive light. She has her reasons and I believe she wants to harm Mr Mittal alone ( or maybe Mrs Mittal as well ) , Mr Mittal is emotionally drained out already about Kabir , plus he's receiving threats which further adds to it. Janhvi enjoys seeing him in distress.
Her husband is spineless , she's aware of that so in order to take down Mr Mittal, she has to get rid of Kabir since him being on his father's side is a serious threat. So she's hell bent on creating a rift between father son duo. And a marriage with her own sister will seal the deal.
I don't think her evil intentions include the positive characters like Dadaji or Arush or even Kavya, she might be a pawn but Janhvi has no plans to harm her, not sure about Dhruv or Kabir though. Let's see how it goes.

Yeah the show has the similar revenge plot but the main leads are different. When i say Jhanvi is not entirely positive like Durga I dont mean it in a negative sense, in fact i love the fact that they showed certain shades of gray afterall she is taking revenge so she has to be a little pragmatic about it, idealistic approach wont work.I dont mean that she is black, she clearly has a reason hence she can never be complete black. She will always be gray, but what shade of gray depends on whom she target, as i said someone like Kavya or Aarush who have nothing to do with it will mean darker shades while someone like her FIL would mean light gray. May be she will harm only Mr Mittal but as of now she keeps repeating Mittal family so we will have to wait and watch. But as you said she will mostly avoid harming Kavya or Aarush or Dadaji. Having said that i absolutely love the fact that Jhanvi is concentrated on her mission and has stronger reasoning powers than displayed by other female leads.Coming to her husband, even I noticed him getting scared of his father. But when you see a spineless character like him you automatically suspect him to be a snake. He notices things about Jhanvi which no other person does. It could mean one of the 2 things -1) Either he has a high emotional quotient and his father does not value it, rather wants the high IQ Kabir. In such a scenario it would be safe to say that he might have wanted a different life such as being an artist or marrying someone else but did not do so because of father's pressure.2) Or he is a spineless snake who knows many things but is trying to utilise them for his selfish purpose, ie, he is a player and no one in his family realizes that.In fact I was thinking that we should start a thread on character analysis in this forum after around 30 to 40 episodes. it would be fun to discuss the characters their motives and their reasons. I am sure Jhanvi is not the only person with a past. 😉

Yeah they are similar in determination but Kabir has much higher principles than his father. Also about his elder, lets see - whether he is the agyakari and pressurized son who was not allowed to live a life he wanted to lead or he is a player who is miffed by the fact that Kabir is given such high pedestal. He notices small things like Jhanvi's feelings and as of now is the only person who was able to get jhanvi behave like a human, just for 2 seconds. So he has to have a special influence, which clearly is invisible to Mittal family.

@kala and Jaanvi thanks a lot for appreciation. Honestly I thought no one would read my posts but it feels so good when people appreciate you. I wont be writing stories but I think I will write episode analysis and character analysis for this show. Hope you guys will read them and share your thoughts on it. 😅😊
