Sorry but Sid is better than Varun - Page 3

I agree. I don't think either Varun or Sid are great actors but I've seen both Badlapur and Ittefaq and anyone who has seen both can easily tell that Sid is the better actor and of course the good looking one.

Varun is a terrible actor, that's why he keeps doing dumb masala entertainers with good dance numbers to show off his dancing skills and make up for his lack of acting skills. Varun is average looking at best and his dialogue delivery is also awful. He also comes across as insecure.

I like him off-screen but he's definitely just another nepo product, who is mediocre and isn't anything special.

Varun's comparison with Ranveer was absolutely ridiculous though 🤣

They were compared even during debut. Varun has came full circle.

Varun is not a perfect actor but way better than Sid. Since SOTY. Though Sid is improving .

Agreed. Varun is also not anywhere near Ranveer's level. I cringe imagining him as Bajirao or even Gully Boy, he would ruin it with that tapori way of speaking he has.

Sid is definitely the goodlooking one. Both are average when it comes to acting chops. So Sid yeah because he looks good.

Sid is bland that's why Varun looks better in comparison to him. Otherwise Varun is probably one of the worst out of this new gen.

you probably haven't seen badlapur...i'm surprised that despite being a success, ppl hardly talk about this film while mentioning Varun.

He was good in October also but the problem is, people like him in those over the top wacky films, that's his forte, he's probably gone in the likes of salman n govinda. but still likes to experiment but after the bombing of kalank i doubt he would risk his career again, shall probably play safe.

as for Sid, he has improved a lot, he was really good in ittefaq and now looking good in JJ as well. But even for sid, his forte lies in the characters which are restrained, he can't do a role convincingly in which he has to go over the top. his body language and voice shall reject him even if he tries hard.

so all in all sid n varun both lie in the same radar because of their strength and weaknesses, though i would give varun an edge because of badlapur, i was choked watching dat film

As for screen presence, Varun doesn't even fully command that area lol. If you're just looking to command screen presence then you have to be at least good looking and charismatic for e.g. Salman 😆

This "Varun having great screen presence" thing is bullshit. I honestly didn't even notice Varun when Siddharth Shukla was in the same frame as him in Humpty Sharma. That's what you call a great screen presence, Sid Shukla definitely has it.

All his life Varun has just tried to be a trashy copy of Govinda and Salman. Can someone please tell him he's no where near them and that he should stop trying? 😆
