@bold 🙁isn’t he just 12 / 13 yrs old ? No problem in him getting accolades & opportunities to sing on stage. But hope he gets back to school , a good education & not singing to pay off his families debts. 😢. Isn’t child labor illegal in India ??🤫

Mish, yes he is just teen (12-13). All the time home loan is in his mind. I guess atleast with this show his that tension will be gone. He became very mature at a tender age. Not sure if you saw his home clips, it is very tough living condition.

I guess he will continue with the study and finish his education but I feel that he will perform at the shows for side income.

As per wiki Child labor is not fully illegal in India there are some conditions involved though.....(I am surprised)

Diwakar was the first runner up on the first ever Little Champs about twelve years ago. I applaud Diwakar for his growth as a singer despite his disability. 👏 I truly feel he deserves all of the accolades that have come his way since his debut on reality television. I admire his spirit even more! 👍🏼 Based on what I've been reading on this thread, the third season of Rising Star doesn't seem to have lived up to its expectation. I think Idol will be back soon with season 11 given season 10's success. It'll be interesting to see if it lives up to the same hype as well. I hope they bring back Vishal, Neha, Javed, and Manish for the eleventh season. ☺️

My vote goes to Diwakar. He has been so consistent in his singing & pitch perfect 👍. I also love his choice of songs ♥️. I feel diabilities to people with talents is a blessing in disguise. I also want to applaud his parents for nurturing, encouraging & supporting him thru’ all this 👏👏.

As for Aftab, he’s still a kid & I pray he does not miss out on his childhood just because of gift of music & his family’s situation. The talent needs to be nurtured & polished as he grows. Hope the adults in his family give him the space to enjoy his childhood like any normal kid, please 😕

So Sony is coming up with new singing show 'Super star singer' and will start from 29th. Salman is going to be in that show as well, I think as one fo the mentors. Do watch if you get chance.

Oh thanks Ami, will give it a try . 🙂 Honestly I was missing watching a weekend musical reality show.

I plan to watch, Mish! So impressed by that bundle of talent! 😃 I'm so happy Salman's getting all of these opportunities despite the stigma of musical reality TV shows.

I watched it... my goodnes all the kid singers are very good, tough to choose... Mere raske kamar by Sal and the girl was excellent and the chubby kid who sang aane wala paal... was par excellence. Very happy kid... Somehow I don't like HR( too strong statement from my side) as he shouted a lot in the previous shows and that impression is still in my mind....

So, the show's promising. That's good to hear! I'm not a fan of HR either. I find his personality a bit too strong and obnoxious at times. I'll bare with him just for the sake of Salman and Javed Ali. 😉
