For example, the producers. They are kind of the financers for the project and not everyone will have faith in youth show scripts until and unless it's coming from big shots of the industry. This passed because it was by Vikas Gupta.

Secondly, channels. Damn, these channels are so difficult. The people only care about number, money. They assume it's usually housewives and ghar baithi aunties who are glued to the screen most time of the day, so they invest in storylines that they believe is best fit for the said audience. ASSUMPTIONS! 😫

And these are just the tip of the iceberg. 😥

That’s true, they only care about numbers. I just think that if they don’t change what they’re showing then nothing will ever be accepted.

It’s a mix of everything the trp audience seem to be stuck there, producers are still producing the same rubbish and then actors are taking these shows which are so regressive showing the husband hitting his wife or the same person being married at the same time to different people or the awful supernatural sequences. They need to change but something needs to happen for that to occur.😒

There’s honestly no middle ground with them 🙄 they need to start finite shows on tv so that the storyline can be shown as it was written and they don’t have unnecessary drama and web shows need to stop with those scenes most of the time it never adds anything to the story so what’s the point?

That needs to. But this whole change would take a hell lot of time. I am confused, will we ever witness good content on Indian television? And in good numbers? Like not just a good show here or there. But a bunch of shows with good content!

Same! I don’t get how a small sample is sufficient to decide what the whole country who has a population of over a billion is watching?

Surely online viewers should also count? It’s more representative?

Shows here used to get good ratings years ago but now they’ve dropped but they’ve taken into consideration catch up services and online streaming and how that would result in the tv figures reducing but Indian tv still seems stuck on those ratings.🙄
