Expectations from the show

Hello all🤗

My first post here n not sure how often I'll be visiting. But would try as much as I can. This show definitely deserves more n more forum members n a huge popularity.

This is really something refreshing on TV right now. All the good shows I was watching ended in 2018 or have lost the plot n no good show started in 2019. Ek bhram has revamped totally n I have lost the interest in it. Kzk has turned too too overdramatic n boring n negative. N then started this show at the perfect timing. I started withdrawing myself from kasautii since bajaj entered because I can't take a third wheel n here I have a new show to invest myself in!😃

Though I don't trust sikcand at all after what he did to yhm but as of now the show looks amazing!! It is light hearted n funny n quite realistic n each episode makes u long for what's happening in the next.

Apart from a general expectation of not turning this into a typical daily soap, I have certain other expectations too.

1. Rohit's family shouldn't rant about Sindhi things too much. It's about to get irritating.

2. Sonakshi doesn't play a victim n a lady of big heart too much.

3. Since sonakshi is supposedly inspired from DT, I hope they show a gradual change in her attitude as she progresses in her career...simple to glamorous, newbie to a television queen, from the one accepting all the terms to being extremely professional, selfless to a little self centered, etc. I have seen this change in DT over the years, specially last 2 years. N it is natural for every celebrity.

4. Kahani Parvati ki shouldn't be the only show Sona will play. It's already been 3 years or something isn't it? We must get to see different types of characters n scenes n the views of TV actress n general audience about it. After all, tv shows r not always only about super bahu.

5. We should get different types of co-actors in her every show. Sumit is an egoistic pervert, next co-star could be friendly n supportive or someone with whom she'll just have cordial relations or someone prankster etc. How she might have certain prejudices n she finds something better or worse, etc. Basically, sonakshi should not be made Parvati in real life. She might become one for the sippy's when she's married, but she need not be a sweet person always with everybody in real life. No celebrity is so sweet come on, we know that, they do carry some tantrums. So they should not paint her as an angel. As of now she only raises her voice when someone says something against her profession or misbehaves with her, but otherwise she is too sweet. They should show her starry tantrums after a while.

6. I would like to have a significant role for a fan too. Maybe some good fans n some bad too. Some obsessive fans etc. No, not a villainous obsession. But some immature fans who cause trouble to the celebrities n they get irritated, the fans who try to dectate their personal life etc. What do the celebrities feel about such possessive fans, what are their reactions when fans fight over their fictional characters etc...do they feel proud or they find the fans stupid etc etc. N this better be real n not something sugar sweet that the celebrities take.

7. When they fall in love, I want Rohit to have issues with sonakshi doing romantic scenes since he doesn't know how they r shot n all n then Sona explains him or brings him to the sets n then he is supportive etc.

8. After marriage, sippy's may start watching TV n make fun of it n Sona feels disheartened

9. Sona not being able to understand the seriousness of some case of Rohit n he taking out the frustration on her saying this is not Ur daily soap, it's real life n death. Right now, they r talking this casually but if they speak this after they r in love, this might create a huge argument.

10. Time management toh hai hi.

Hope they give us such meaningful scenes that r close to reality n we r not served typical sikcand chhap drama!

What r Ur expectations?

None - no expectations. Always leads to disappointment when it comes to tv shows.

Loving the show so far. Will watch as long it maintains its fun flavor. I like those "talking directly to the audience" part buts am not sure if they can be maintained once the story is in full swing as breaks the scene continuity.

I am impressed with Dipika. She carries comedic portions very well.

If a show runs for longer, an actress ends up playing the role for the longest time though, isn't it, for example, Parvati, Tulsi, etc...

Like others, I don't want to keep any expectations as well. I prefer being surprised.

Let's hope the show retains it's flavor for long so that we can see the scenes you've enumerated. I'd love to see Rohit getting jealous over the onscreen ML tho. 😂😂😂

Oh! Thank you! I was thinking along the lines of drishti dhami and just couldn't figure it out 😛

I started watching this show for a couple of reasons... I had just chanced upon it's promo or never would know of it... And what made me want to watch it was - first kvg as I always have liked him since his show with aashima bhalla... His acting has always endeared... So expressive & funny at the same time... Even on other shows that I saw him - non fiction, he always appeared very affable & a nice guy... Secondly, the concept was very unique... It is not the teenybooper love story that most shows doing well today are made of... It was matured, sensible fresh concept... It is not "just" a love story, it shows the intricacies of their careers, it shows dr sippy as a dr so efficient at his job... I wish they show more of that angle... I also am so happy to see tanaaz back on screen after such a long time... My expectation was the same as the promo had hinted, and till date it has only exceeded my expectations...

Ok girls...let's call it Ur wishes instead of expectations🤗

Before the story loses its plot, it's better to give them masala that we would like to have😆

So with all that I have mentioned, they can easily run the tracks for 8-10 months
