She’ll probably call him something else - dad / daddy etc. The name doesn’t matter anyway. Even if she called him uncle forever he’d still be more of a father to her than Ashok ever was.

Though names dont make any difference as heart felt feelings are more important, but i feel in the end mini out of deep respect for HS might like to call herself mini hanuman singh and might herself ask him to adopt her legally as his daughter, which i have seen happening now a days. Though this did not happen in india, but in US a girl of may be 22/23 yrs gifted her step father adoption papers of herself as his birthday gift, which he always wanted since he came into her mothers life few years back. Whenever this happens, i want mini to take that initiative😊

Totally agree, but after the track where she takes Babita's name to honor her mother, this might not be possible. Sounds so wonderful, though.

And yes, anyone who sees the two of them together will consider them as father-daughter. Special mentions:

1. The scene where he hears the longing in her voice for a proper camera as she talks about how expensive that would be, and then when he gifts her one as a surprise to allow her to fulfill her dreams. That's something a father would do - feel for his kid, understand his or her needs without being asked and do whatever he can to support their ambitions.
2. Counting to 5 to get her to apologize for being rude with her mother. The tension in that scene and both his confidence in his authority over her and her acknowledging it was perfectly done.
3. The way he stands by to support her during the karate competition (or Japani kushti as HS calles it) and him bursting with pride when she won.
4. The way he looks for her the minute he returns from camp and bursts through the door - so many fathers do this when they get back home and want to see their kids first thing.
5. The way Minnie is super excited and sharing with HS all the updates of Babita's meeting with Meeta's parents as soon as he comes back home and is removing his belt, watch etc. That's so typical of kids wanting to tell their father everything and the father also eagerly listening to updates + the affection with which he tells asks her what his Queen Victoria thinks.
6. The scene where he sits next to her as she is upset about Ashok being in jail. HS was trying to be strong but the moment she looked at him and her eyes teared up, he couldn't control himself either. He cannot stand seeing her upset - it affects him right away. This was, in my opinion, one of the masterpiece scenes of this show and one of my all-time favorites.

There are so many more subtle and obvious ones, of course. The list is endless and to be frank, it's their bonding that has actually kept me hooked on to this show.

You know what I was discussing about this topic with my sis my question was same mini will ever call HS Papa and she replied in the end mini will say hanuman singh as "papa"
