What is the show all about

Very confused with what is happening with PBs :

When I started watching this serial some 3 months back I thought it was about how a lady cheated by her husband who realises her own worth and importance. Ideally this divorce is a boon for Babita since she discovers her hidden potential, becomes confident & independent. realises she is so much more than becoming a house wife, starts fighting her own fear speaking for herself and what not. So ideally good for her, agree this is a big trauma but sometimes u live your life without a purpose and it is important for you to give yourself importance first before you make anyone else important in your life. So was a good lesson learnt.

I always was for the mother daughter bond as nowadays such stories are not made and we also don’t see friendship stories so this emotional connect was lovely to see. Felt the business career path was not shown and would have loved to see the hardships in business, mother daughter duo tackling those and reaching great heights. How they run the business is completely beyond my understanding. They have never had support staff except for 3 ladies out of which 2 are not even competent. They take all types of orders for multiple people. Must say they are too very competent 🤣🤣. How I wished this story could have been the main one and the path could have been visible.

Instead what is happening now. Complete focus is on the lives of Ashok Mita. Mita who was so smart and independent has suddenly become the damsel in distress, totally lost with a miserable past (was this required)

Suddenly Babita has become Jhansi ki Rani fighting for Mita (Mita who was much more independent than Babita has suddenly become dependent on Babita who has now transformed 360 degrees) Not that this can’t happen but seems more like typical tracks where one character is given all importance and the other is made weak deliberately for the purpose.

Babita is the dutiful wife and the wonderful lady. Mita is a characterless other woman. Superb.

Ashok has become the villain. A guy who could have anytime left Babita (since the relationship has been shown of 10 to 15 years) stuck to her all while, always was shown caring towards her. It was clear that he had no liking for Babita and for him Mita was beautiful aswell as more intelligent, independent, modern and smart which made him choose her over Babita. He never behaved badly with Mita but suddenly he lashes out at her, abuses her, cares the least for her or the baby, points out to her past in an extremely bad way, disrespects her and what not.

Now HS who is the real Hanuman will fight against Ashok and wow the hero will win the battle. The heroine is already number one.

What a typical path the serial is following. In Serials character portrayal is changed as and when required. Totally unwanted storyline. I liked Mita as she was and don’t think a bad past was required. What Ashok did to Babita is unpardonable but was not necessary to show him bad in every way. HS Babita love track for me does not work as the story is different for me. Not necessary that Babita has to fall in love with HS, she can choose her partner on her path, he can be HS or can be someone else. Anyway that is a part of the track not the original track. But soon even that will happen. Somehow the way things are being planned is not too very good. They are taking away the entire purpose of PBS.

What on earth do you have against HS. As you seem very anti HS. He is a lovely character, maybe they want to up the anti here.

Agree with the catering business, no one seems to be working anymore as they have now decided to bring back the Khuranas with vengeance. At the back of my mind I still keep on getting Babita and Ashok remarriage, maybe a bit of emotional blackmail from Beeji to Babita to marry Ashok.

Not at all...and I know he has admirers 😀 just feel let Babita decide..when it goes same way it becomes more like another daily soap....from the start I feel the same but forget that part 🙂 Wat abt other points

I agree with your POV about Meeta . Earlier Meeta was shown as independent and successful professional with good business acumen who was ready to help Ashok in his busness dealings .

I dont think that is possible with her being a bartender in London and having a very shady past .

Even her parents never seemed to be so uncaring when they came to Chandigarh . Now they are described to be completely uncaring .

Meeta story has lost all its credibility .

The issue with all daily soaps is they tend to have only one hero and one heroine ...rest all are bad or tagged as support...just to lend a shoulder to main cast...thus nowadays web series pattern is becoming a hit...we look forward to episodes and to seasons there...in daily soaps we wish the show ends with some proper conclusion..Uttaran was one lovely show which went completely off track later and there are many more ..will just hope someone reads this and get’s this show back on track...it is ok having many good ppl ...many heros heroines and villains ..having a proper storyline and sticking to it...letz be realistic not dumb...too much perfection and too much imperfection both is not realistic
