Ranveer or Shahid?

Why are people saying Shahid as Kabir Singh is better than Ranveer in GullyBoy? Kabir Singh is a one-note character who is playing on toxic masculinity all through. Whereas Ranveer's charachter in GullyBoy had many more dimensions. Ranveer's rage and anger isn't just on the surface but its visceral and a part of the air he breathes. To show that complexity isn't easy, He is deep and intense yet light and breezy when needed. There is a natural flair and charm that he puts to use full throttle.

Shahid is fantastic no doubt, especially in the scenes when he comes unhinged are pure gold. But I feel Ranveer's charachter is more difficult to portray.

Hmmm...so Bebo HR shipper dislikes Shahid. Probably blame him for coming between them😆 Just like how you dislike Ranveer for not letting your RKDP ship sail.😆

Better movie: Gully Boy.

Better acting: Shahid Kapoor.

I was surprised to see Minty praising Ranveer's acting over another actor. He is not high on her list of good actors as seen from previous threads.

^^I like Ranbir and Varun more than Ranveer, but that doesn't mean I don't think he's a good actor! He was fantastic in GullyBoy!

And no, I actually like him with Deepika more than I like DP with Ranbir.
