The Slow Rain - Mishbir OS
Hi all! This OS is a continuation from my earlier FF part 11 just before the proposal. Don't worry I will give a jist about it for those who haven't read the FF.
In short, Mishti is working for a company and Mishti and Kuhu are volunteering part time for Abir's NGO. Mishti and Abir has already confessed their love for each other. Rahul is the MD of the company for which Mishti is working, who has recently taken over from his father. Both Mishti and Abir are yet to tell about their love to their respective families.
I think this should do. Now, over to the story.
" Hi Abir!! It's raining, I love rain, come let's go and get drenched" said Mishti and dragged him in to the rain, surprising Abir at his usual hideout.
" Mishti, you said we will not be able to meet today. I am so happy to see you" said Abir hugging Mishti.
" Well! I missed my charming man, so here I am" said Mishti.
" Wow! That's so sweet, Mishti" said Abir hugging Mishti.
Both were lost in each other's eyes.
The rain started to slowly drench Abir and Mishti who were dancing in the moon light.
Mishti leaned on Abir's chest slightly and was holding his left hand, her right hand was around his shoulder. Abir's right hand perfectly held Mishti's waist.
They both swayed slowly to the song playing. The stars, the moon light, the nearby river, the slow rain made the scene very romantic.

The rain had stopped long back leaving them fully drenched when Abir and Mishti came back to their senses.
" Aachooo" sneezed Mishti.
" Mishti, come on let's go inside, you will catch cold. We have been out in the rain for how long I don't know" said Abir taking Mishti inside the tent.
" Here, come on Mishti let's dry your hair first" said Abir taking a towel and pointing the chair to Misthi.
" Give me I will do it Abir" said Mishti sneezing one more time.
" Mishtiii, I want do it, now come here, fast, you are going to get sick" said Abir.
Abir was drying Mishti's hair with the towel and said " Mishti, I was worried earlier that I couldn't meet you today, you made my day. This evening was so beautiful with you, the slow rain, the song, the river side, the stars, the moon light. Thanks for coming Mishti.
M - Yes Abir, this evening was perfect.
Mishti said, "now come on Abir, it's my turn now, come sit".
" Mishti, first change your clothes, here, take my pajamas, let your clothes dry for some time. I will go and light up a bonfire" said Abir.

M - I am also done and am turning back. Ok
A - Ok. Ha ha Mishti you look very cute.
M - You call this cute?!!! I look like a ghost without hands and legs, now come help me Abir.
A - Mishtiii, You are cute only and funny too, said Abir helping her with the clothes.
A - Come let's go out.
Mishti sat there while Abir was trying to light up a bonfire.
Once he was done Abir sat beside Mishti.
M - Abir, tomorrow there is another dinner at office. So I will not be coming to the NGO or I will come late. I will text you.
A - What??!! This Rahul is totally ruining my life. Employees doesn't have any personal life or what?
M - Leave it na. This will be a one time thing I guess. By the way, today something funny happened. While I was sneaking out early from the dinner, I was caught by Rahul. Some how I managed to come. He said I look too beautiful so he is letting me go today. Otherwise it would have taken much longer and I would not have met you today.
A - You should have told him that you are going to meet your boyfriend.
M - Why will I tell him about my boyfriend?
A - Why will you not tell him about your boyfriend?
M - Come on Abir. You remember we have not told our family about our love. I don't want to tell every other person first before letting them know. They will feel bad if they come to know through some body else na.
A - Hmmm... Right.
M - Abir, by any chance are you getting jealous of Rahul??
A - No. Nooooo. Why will I be?
M - That's good. Ok. It's really late now. I have to go home. Let me go and change first.
The next day Mishti was texting Abir.
M - Hi Abir! Will not be able to meet today. Will be very late after dinner. See you tomorrow.
A - Awww! Mishti, I am missing you already.
The next day was Mishti's Birthday. Abir had planned to surprise her that midnight.
That midnight Abir went to Maheshwari house and tried to climb up the balcony. Somehow he managed to climb up to Mishti's room balcony. Abir was trying to open the balcony door but couldn't, it was locked from inside. He decided to text Mishti and ask her to come out to the balcony.
A - Happie Birthday my love❤️❤️.
M - Thank you honey😘 You remembered 😊 immediately came the reply.

" Surprise!! A very Happy Birthday" said Abir and Kissed Mishti on her forehead and handed her the flowers and the gift.
" Wow Abir!! Thank you so much. How did you manage to get here? Didn't expect you here at all. You have made my birthday special. I was a bit upset after yesterday." said Mishti.
" This is nothing Mishti. But what happened yesterday? Why were you upset?" asked Abir.
" Let's not talk about it now, Abir I want to relish this moment with you" said Mishti hugging Abir.
" Ok. Listen, we will meet today evening at 8 at our usual place. Ok? " asked Abir.
" Today it will be difficult to come but I will some how manage and come." said Mishti.
By that time they saw lights getting switched on down.
" Oh my god I think Bade papa and Badi ma are going to come up. You better get down soon. I don't want them to see us like this" said Mishti worriedly.
"Ok ok relax. I am sure very soon I can come through the main door. Ok bye. See you later." said Abir kissed Mishti on her nose and got down the ladder.
Mishti went and hid quickly the flowers and the gift and went to bed.
Kuhu, stirred in her sleep, behenji what are you doing running around the room at midnight. How many times I have told you not to disturb me while I am sleeping, said Kuhu and went back to sleep.
Later in the morning ...
Mishti got up late because she didn't sleep properly last night, first Abir came to wish her on her Birthday, then her family came up with a cake. She rushed to work in the morning.
Mishti saw her desk completely decorated and she saw flowers everywhere. Everyone she met handed her a rose and wished her. When she was wondering what's going on?, Abir came from nowhere with a cake in his hand and all her colleagues yelled surprise.
" Wow Abir!! You did all this? That's so sweet" said Abir.
They all celebrated Mishti's birthday and when Abir was going to leave he came up to Mishti and asked, where is Rahul? I wanted to meet him.
" I guess he is yet to come in to work for the day. Btw Why do you have to meet him?" said Mishti looking at the out sign of his Cabin.
" Nothing honey. Just simply. Ok bye. I will let you get back to work, we will meet in the evening. And here are the lillies that you love. " said Abir.
" Thanks Abir, you really made my day. See you in the evening.", said Mishti.
Later that evening...
" Hi Abir, sorry I am late. I had to tell I am going to temple, to come here. Then Badi ma said she will also come, then we went to temple and I dropped her home and here I am." said Mishti.
" No worries, love. Come sit down. I guess you must be hungry. Let's have dinner first. I bet you will like this song" said Abir Switching on some music.

" Yesterday I told you I am going for office dinner na. It turned out no one else from office were invited, and Rahul wanted to have dinner with me it seems. I was upset because I was not told about it before, I thought it's an official dinner party. I didn't know about this till I reached the restaurant. He had blocked the entire restaurant. I said I am going back, and then he apologized for it, and he didn't mean to keep it as a secret and there was some misunderstanding. We then sat down for dinner and then he said he liked me and asked for a date." said Mishti.
" Arrrgh!! Look at the nerve of that guy, I am so angry right now" said Abir.
" Abir, relax. I told you na I handled it. He apologized and he asked me to forget about it and requested not to let this affect my work. I told him I have a boyfriend already and more over, as a principle I don't get involved with anyone at work, for me work is different and personal life is different and I don't like mixing both. He agreed and apologized. And that's the end of it."
" Hmmm.... Ok. Good that he apologized. I know you can handle it Mishti, I trust you."said Abir kissing on Mishti's nose.
