YRHPK scenes cut on TV - Page 2

Actually the reverse is true. They cut some scenes that air on TV for the Hotstar version. Scenes which involve some promotion are generally scrapped in Hotstar. In YHM recently 2-3 scenes were cut which involved promoting voting in elections and helping the needy by donating. Some time back, some star had come to the show and that scene was also cut on Hotstar.

Anyway cutting 1-2 scenes will not affect in any way.

Guys, check this tweet. I don’t watch YRHPK on TV but watch it on Hotstar. Is this true? I have no idea. If this is true then doesn't this action of SP affect TRPs? Someone please confirm.

I dont think they can cut scenes the editing as it is not upto the mark

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted in this forum before so this is my first post here. I just wanted to say I watch from the UK and yes some things are cut often. I'm not sure exactly why as YRPHK is aired quite late, 10pm, so anything considered unsuitable should not matter at that time. In the UK we have something called the watershed time, meaning anything violent or unsuitable on tv would be cut if aired before 9pm.

The first time I realised they cut a bit was during the fire scene when Abir was breaking the door down to get to Mishti and suddenly the next moment she was collapsed in his arms. I was well annoyed because the whole scene was all about his urgency to get to her. It was only during a flashback I also realised we had missed hearing Mishti say to him to get a phone! I tried to look the episode up online unfortunately none was available (I travel a lot so lot of the episodes I was watching had been recorded from weeks ago).

The second time I noticed a cut scene was during the fight scene with Sappan bhai. From the start of the fight it suddenly cut to the end...so lot of the heightened emotional scenes/cues were missed.

I am not sure why Starplus (UK channel airing indian serial) is doing this. Anyway when I feel something is cut I try to see it online. Only trouble is if it's weeks later then I miss out. It would be good if regular update is posted so those of us missing a scene will at least get to read about it.
