Looking at all the advance bookings for Kabir Singh and the positive reviews, it can clearly be predicted that Kabir Singh will be a 100cr+ and the first solo movie of Shahid to be in the hundred crore club.

Opening (20 Cr) is much beyond Bobby’s prediction (10 Cr). When you multiply that by same WOM ( which Bobby predicted), it would give 150 Crores.

What went wrong is the first day estimate. I had never imagined an A rated movie opening to 20 crores (in fact, I thought it would be less than 10 crores). I said the same in review thread. It must be the first Bollywood A rated movie with a first day collection like this. Bobby (or analyst) is bound to go wrong. This was not predicted.

100+ lifetime is easy

Also srkat, do you consider your bharat prediction a failure? It earned only 30+ cr more than you predicted.

I'm not one to defend my mistakes. Kabir Singh is a wrong prediction. I admit it. But to say "another fail" or "I don't get the pulse of the Indian audience" is kinda pushing it...

The reason why I have been predicting for so many years is because for every wrong prediction, there has been a right one: Cocktail, Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3, PK, Dangal, PRDP, Raees, Tiger Zinda Hai, Thugs of Hindostan, etc.

Regarding Bharat, I'm happy with the prediction. I predicted 176 crore nett lifetime and Average verdict, whereas BOI (the site's numbers that I follow) will have lifetime collections for Bharat around the 195-200 crore nett range, and Semi Hit/Hit verdict. It's close!

But profit of only 20 crores or so. Such poor ROI...Tut tut....not expected from Salman..that too an Eid release. I'm flattered that you remember my predictions though...☺️😆
