Never discredit shahid for padmavat's success as well and all 3 leads deserved equal credit. Every top actor with good promo , chances and role can give good numbers as well. Its about the opportunities they get. If he gets movies on ranveer's or ranbir's scale, he can give numbers too. So i hope this will be turning point in his career👍🏼

Love that Ranveer has become the Barometer of Success be it BO or Critical acclaim. If someone wants to gauge “so n so”’s success then I see Ranveer’s movies and name being used. It’s an amazing feeling to have loved him since day 1 and to see him reach to this point. Even better if it involves veterans. Movie Shahid ki hain aur baat Ranveer ki ho rahin hain zyada .I love it .

Some people keep labeling Shahid as a failure in such ways as in he never had any achievement in his film career...not all his films are flops and he is appreciated for films like Kaminey, Haider and Udta Punjab which are not flops either. He achieved awards for those too, then how can his entire career be labeled as failure? Moreover he has a solo blockbuster movie Vivah and hit movie like Jab We Met which is many people's all time favorite film.

38 age is not too old to retrieve someone's career either. We should not forget that actor like Robert Downey Jr. got established during his late 40s.

Anyways, the receptions of Kabir Singh movie will take Shahid into another level of stardom and surely he will be much more choosy with his next projects.

Sorry to burst your bubble! Shahid isn't getting compared to Ranveer bcoz he has set any sort or barometer, he is getting compared bcoz nobody gave shahid any credit for the success of Padmavat and labeled him just a supporting actor. With the opening of Kabir Singh, Shahid has proved he was one of the main reasons for the success of Padmavat.
