He never said Deepika was not offered movies post wedding. He said Deepika sat at home for an year after Padmavat because she was not getting anything worth her time n energy. She was not married immediately after padma.

That is not what anyone would understand from that interview.actors too are struggling to get good roles..but they are better off,because they make money-Samantha says.

It is really a sad state of affairs in BW,That there are no good films or roles for superstars.It is the best of times for Tapsee,Bhoomi and other talented actresses.But those roles don't do much for stars who have larger than life images.Just the effort to be ordinary takes a tolll (Poor Hrithik..what a wrong film super 30 is for him.It required a Pankaj Tripathi)

BW holds no awe for me.No announcement makes any impact.

But then,It is up to the stars to fight and overcome.The challenge is not to just make it to the top..but keep going higher.

Thinking outside the box,opening new doors is the only way up.

The directors and films BW has..no one is interested.Alia has got the best deals?Who wants them ?

There is a dearth of good scripts in bollywood period. It is not the married actress only even the unmarried ones are struggling for good roles and good movies.

Its more like Bollywood doesn’t have daring and successful producers. I don’t believe we don’t have good writers. Producers follow a pattern of jo hit ho gya, ab ussi genre par lge raho thing. Actor ko toh jo bologe, accha actor hai toh kr dega act. Writer bhi likh dega.
