Kartik Aaryan casts aside Taapsee Pannu for Ananya Pandey?

Kartik Aaryan rocked the Bollywood with his debut film Pyaar Ka Punchnama and since then the actor has been climbing up the ladder. With the success of Luka Chuppi, the actor has bagged many roles and is considered as one the youngest rising stars of the generation. However, the actor has finally found himself in the vicious and endless loop of controversy.

The reports are rife that Kartik has been the reason for Taapsee Pannu being unceremoniously dropping from Pati Patni Aur Woh without being formally informed about it.

Taapsee has gone on record to state her sorrow with the unprofessionalism shown by the team that’s remaking the classic adult comedy, originally directed by the path-breaking B R Chopra and featuring Sanjeev Kumar as a husband cheating on his wife (played by Vidya Sinha) with his secretary (Ranjeeta Kaur).

The recent development suggests that Taapsee was penned to be the leading lady in Pati Patni Aur Woh and she was dropped out from the role due to the requests from the remake’s leading man Kartik Aaryan.

According to the reports from In.com, a source revealed, “It was Kartik who suggested to producers, Kapil and Abhay, and director MusassarAziz to sign Ananya Pandey in place of Tapsee Pannu for the wife’s role.”

Adding to it, the Luka Chuppi star felt Ananya Pandey be the ‘Hot and Happening’ for her latest release (Student of the Year 2). But, there’s no denying Taapsee can be hot and happening with hits like Pink, Naam Shabana and Badlaa to her credit.

A filmmaker who has played a big hand in Kartik’s stardom says, “If this (Kartik being instrumental in Tapsee’s replacement) is true then it’s a shame. There are so many projects in the past where Kartik has lost out to star-kids. And now he does the same to another self-made star-actor? What a shame!”

His discoverer and mentor, Luv Ranjan, says, "I don't think Kartik has changed with success. We are in touch and he's still the same. What happens with success is that the perception of people around you begins to change. Their expectations change."

The recent event has raised a plethora of questions about Kartik Aaryan’s changing perceptions after success and hunger for stardom.

Taapsee said it was the actor who kicked her out and suggested someone else and im still in touch and friendly with the producer aka KJO but she doesn’t understand it was KJo’s chaal hunny.. now u wont dare speak against him will you? Rather go for the weaker link instead of speaking against the big shot.

Karthik has a knack of rubbing his female costars or actors the wrong way. He supposedly doesn't get along with Nushrat Barucha and there were rumours of him not getting along with Kriti and now getting Taapsee kicked out. What's his problem?

I find it so hard to believe that rooster would have such a big influence in the casting 🤣Anyways rooster is best suited to work with the likes of Ananya. Tapsee can do better.

Bad move Kartik. The film sounds shitty and Ananya is a floppy.

And KJo is to blame for it. He is known for meddling and arm twisting.

You really think all of the sudden rooster is able to have so much influence on filmmakers after two hits that he can ask them to cast aside a much more accomplished actress than him and that newbie? And all this because Ananya has more appeal😆

Ananya can be more 'hot and happening' than Tapsee in KJo's world only, that too after one above average movie.

I am ready to believe that KJo did false khusphus in Tapsee's ear and threw rooster under the bus.
