Rocky’s approval to marriage sounds like a different person altogether. The Rocky we know would never say yes. I wonder how cvs would justify this.

I still have my reasons to not feel connected to Happy’s reasons for marrying RV and her plan. Now I fear that I will not be able to connect to the justification for Rocky saying yes. The only way is him saying yes for that kid, not the best reasons but the only justifiable one. Even worse if I don’t connect with Rocky then I don’t connect with this show.

In my eyes marriage is a big decision and almost always leaves behind a irreversible bit even after it falls out. Just the way we can never forget that Happy got married to Chintu and then RV. Now with Rocky marrying, we still have to see how things span out. I just cannot understand the fact that they chose to show this while they had better choices and plots to show.

I fear slowly Rocky is becoming unrecognisable and so is this show.

I still can’t over that scene when Happy wants to share something important after Anaya’s death. Even Rocky knew she is scared. But they called off the conversation for the lamest reasons ‘client ka call hai’. Like really? Who cares about the client? Happy should have stopped him and told him that he needs to know something important. But she being the stupid that she is just hummed and let the conversation go by. That was the real turn off point for me.

I think Rocky's silent and calm portrayal of pain in there can be understood by the fact that already a few days had passed and that violent pain and grief has kind of calmed down and seeped into the bottom of his heart. It remains just as an inner felt pain - a pain which has reached its final stage of metamorphosis and it will no longer evolve into something else. It will remain like this only for his whole life. Those few days made it into this.

This pain has slowed him down and wored him out enough at this moment that he no longer wears an active image of it. This pain will make him cry to his sleep but he no longer wears it but just has it in him.

He just wants to keep that to himself, be alone with it. The way he had put Happy's belonging close to his chest and silently crying says all that! He is just immersed in that pain of his heart, alone in a room full of her memories.

Then he sees her, knows that she isn't here and it is just his imagination and that is why he gives a painful smile! He sleeps with her picture close to him, in tranquil blanket of her memories!

I found this scene really beautifully written keeping in mind the writer wanted to show how that chronic pain of separation looks like in its final calm form. The Jeeni hai Jeeni made it all the more beautiful!

I like your take Golu. But I wanted to see more. I expected more from Rocky. This is the first time he behaved out of his character. Even after few days passed, Rocky silently accepting the reality, not fighting, screaming, being Rocky-like is not acceptable to me. He believed the reports right away. We didn't even see him in denial which most of the leads live in for a while. Rocky toh alag hi level ka tha na? How could he be like that? I live for his character. Hence I am angry and upset.

I blame this on CVs for rushing up the entire episode. Yes, I too liked the scene. His smile in pain was heartbreaking. I am hoping CVs to make it up in tomorrow's episode.

Word! I have stopped connecting to the show and today was the final nail in the coffin.

In bold - So true! I mean Rocky should have just switched off the damn phone and asked Happy what she wanted to say. After all he always gives her his time. And after her mentioning that she wanted to discuss something important with her why didnt he take the clients call and as soon as it ended rushed back to Happy to know what important thing she had to tell him. The client ka call was the lamest excuse ever now that you mentioned it. 🤦‍♀️
