Mr. Ross,

I have never replied to one of your episode synopsis. I thought it would be great to congratulate you on your 200th episode synopsis. I can never do well writing in Hindi as you folks because although I understand Hindi, my written Hindi is whack.

For me I at least connected to some of Naina’s VOs yesterday. Living in the Metro means rubbing shoulders with millions of people every day and yet cities can be isolating where many of us live entirely anonymously not knowing neighbors above or besides you. I myself have experienced this isolation living at New York when I first arrived in the US. I just used to eat like Naina all by myself at night staring at the walls. However, Naina seems to be living in a more mingling community where at least she has the option of going down to the common & straining her ears as well as rubbernecking to figure what other women of the society are up to. Of course, overhearing the gossip has its perks as well as drawbacks. It was great to see Naina turning the gossip into resolve to overcome jealousy & possessiveness for her husband in the hopes of the better future for them.

For me Preeti’s sequence has been realistic. How ironical is it that a bubbly girl like Preeti who I thought was more likely to have a love marriage ended up with a nerdy mahakanjoos husband. It is sad to see a free spirited girl working 24/7 taking care of Saas & Dadi Saas. I love her spunk in bringing up her desire to attend the beauty school. Like many girls of her time she was turned down too. I did not agree to Naina’s VO here about girls not being allowed to work in the 90s. True, that there were a bunch of girls who were not allowed to work but I know plenty more who were encouraged to work especially in the big Metro like Mumbai, where actually dual income benefit the economy of the family overall.

For me the most effective scene of the day was Nirmalaji snapping at Preeti . How she blatantly blamed Naina for motivating Preeti in the wrong direction and indicating how Sameer did not work but Naina also wasting her time at home doing nothing. Earlier she had politely refrained Naina from talking to Preeti on the phone indicating that Preeti had multiple chores at home unlike her. As rude as it is, in lot of way she was right. I wanted Naina to hear it with her own ears because I want reawakening in Naina to start researching options in life for herself too. Currently all she does is draw plans for Sameer. Also that timetable for me was ridiculous - how much idle time should one have to draw up a timetable like that.

It also felt good to see Sameer being complimented for in the acting class.

I don’t know how you came up with the title but Mithya is a very apt title. Sameer & Naina are figuratively living in bubble and I cannot wait for the bubble to burst.

Actually usually I log in to IF from my phone but today I logged in from my tablet and I was typing the comment there. Then I don't know how the backspace button got clicked and my comment vanished 😔.

Then I typed the comment again and before posting, I copied the message. Now I will never use my tablet use IF. My phone is best for that purpose.

And by using IF on my tablet, I also realized that this new IF is so painful to eyes. In my phone, reading mode is on all the time and so it doesn't affect my eyes. But after using tablet, my eyes were burning.

Bass kya! You are since my first update, you might have observed I don't take anything to heart phir yeh toh maamuli baat thi, uske liye kya apology!

I know, as I have said earlier I don't put extra efforts for bhankasgiri, it comes quite natural warna nahi toh nahi. I know which updates were entertaining i,e when I had felt satisfied withit. So, I know exactly what you want to convey abt this post.

N VO talking abt Sam ke aas paas koi bhi makkhi ( e.g Neeli makkhi, shoe-shaped makkhi, moti makkhi etc) mandrati toh jalan hoti thi jise swaha karna pada, aur life ka yeh exam bahot tough tha.
