I know alot of people here don't like Mickey because he seems like a Romeo, especially because of how he behaved with Minnie during the Holi sequence and his girlfriends before that. But HS thought beating his wife was the way to go before Imarti taught him it was wrong. He had turned into an alcoholic (he did have a reason to drown his sorrow in a bottle, I know) till Babes and Minnie entered his life.

Mickey may be wrong in some ways, but who isn't? He's 18 (or around that age). He will learn. He has learnt with Minnie.

He respects his mother and kept her swear without caring about anybody mocking him for it (it would bother a normal teenager). He double dated, but we haven't seen him around any girl since Minnie entered his life. He doesn't try to stake claim on her anymore, he was genuinely happy when she got Bobby back (even Preet).

He dealt with HS (who can be a scary man, especially being a police officer) just to stick by Minnie despite being berated by her so many times. He cared about her enough to tie her bandage for the karate competition despite their fight at the time. He stuck by her when her best friend turned her back on Minnie. He cared enough about Minnie to come to her house and try to put a smile on her face. He can calm her down (which even her mother can't do sometimes).

He was ready to fight with Manmeet for Minnie and still chose to go after his friend because he knew she needed him at the time. He warned her against cyber bullying/crime in the best way possible. He stuck around to promote PB catering and also made them a website/Facebook page.

He might still harbour feelings for Minnie, but he put them on the backburner to be her friend and her support when her family and friends didn't stick by her.

I understand if you don't want to see a love angle/triangle between him and Minnie and/or Preet. But don't judge him by who he was. People change, especially kids. This show is realistic so let's enjoy this character's development and arc.

Nope just can't get over his past. He has no respect for girls etc. Nope a leopard never changes his spots. No would like Mini to DmStudy and Travel and not have history repeat its self like her Mother.

I honestly don't have a problem with Mickey. Except for his behavior in the start, he has come around well indeed. And now he's just being a friend like Bobby has been to Minnie. He has been pretty genuine in his behavior so far ever since she accepted her as just a freind. I don't see anything wrong with him...

His behavior was like a typical of an arrogant ,rich teenage boy in the start. But he does have his heart in its right place.

I agree with u that he is a great friend and support much better than preet

He stood by her even when she tried to push him away

Honestly love triangle is making me uncomfortable since i feel shes too young esp. Since she is so affected by what her mother went thru

Her experiences will be coloured with the past she needs some time to see how how good relationships work. She needs to heal to recover bloom first

Like the TM said he is only 18. That is nothing...it's just the ending of teenage years and step into manhood.

He also like Minnie has much to experience and see..how can he be the man he needs to be without living life, making mistakes and learning from them.

I like Mickey but I DON'T want to see a love triangle between him Preet and Minnie..it will be so awkward for future friendship if one gets rejected.

I'm still waiting for when a leap happens and maybe we see a more established Bobby? Or maybe a new guy? Or a mature Mickey? How ever I don't want them to start love story at this tender age....crushes are cute and all but leave the love story to the adults in the show..Hanita is what I wanna see

I agree 100% Everyone changes and we have seen CV's showing the growth in his character.

Looks like CVs are hell bent on taking the love triangle route between the three friends. It's so cringe-worthy to watch Preet trying to get Mickey to spend time with her 😕, especially when she crossed off Minnie's figure from her foot's cast. When will this girl realise that her entire world doesn't need to revolve around getting a suitable boy? Especially not at the cost of valuable friendships. It's like she learnt nothing from the Kittu engagement fiasco. She's still willing to let other people get between her friendship with Minnie. And to think I used to feel their friendship is too cute in the beginning.

But it's so sweet to watch the dynamics between Mickey and HS. They work well together because Mickey doesn't stop himself from asking inquisitive questions or giving his advice to HS, helping him on his quest to win over Babes.

Somehow, I don't want Minnie to find out like this. This way she will hate HS for having feelings for her mother. Especially after the entire speech she gave to Mita (about people having to deal with her before getting to Babita)? I don't want HS hurt. I think it'll be better if Mickey finds it and deletes it before Minnie can hear it. Mickey and Nayeem bi can plant the seed in Minnie instead and then take it slowly from there. Then again, let's see what the CVs have in mind, they usually show a unique and sweet way of doing things.

@bold

I posted the same idea in another thread. But trust the CVs to deliver something totally beyond our imagination, surpassing our expectations.
