From what I saw of the scene it seemed like he put the ring on Lav to stop them pursuing Dri to find out her thoughts and whereabouts.
Also he's only put a ring on despite being married - does it carry any significance? He didn't allow her to put one in him.
The fact that he is married is the main point. But I agree that he did the same to stop his idiotic mom to stop from looking for Drishti.
this is exactly what bothering me.... She never tried to be a good wife or DIL of the family. Lava is atleast better than her when it comes to impress in laws. Dri's actual intention behind this marriage was just to save her sister and take revenge from pi.I haven't watched the last 11 episodes fully. But Lav was needed irrespective of if we say there's other way's to get Dri to confront, acknowledge and express her feelings for her Pati dev.
Dri is NOT considering this marriage in it's truest sense - her actual relationship with R (the mental/emotional etc). Just carrying out a few duties doesn't mean she's doing her best to integrate and mix with the family and him . As a PA (other than sleeping in R room ) she could pretty much carry out similar if not more responsibilities.
The lying is where the cv's screwed up big time. As well as showing her drop everything to go wandering in search of P.
Whenever Ra asked her anything she never seemed to explain it properly.... Trust is the main reason that should be fulfilled in any relationship this is more imp than physical relation.

Hoping for the confession to happen pretty soon. And I don't think getting Engaged to someone or even announcing that would make ur partner confess. In fact the opposite might happen this can Really push them away.
