Her conversation with Geet changed many things plus she knows deep down mohider not keeping her happy and she didn't want her daughter too face same after marriage as Akshat can be same like mohinder . This point forced her to take this step .

Geet's engagement day and all Rano heard was how perfect Akshat is

and that Geet will live the same life as she lives in her father's house

but this fact made Rano believe that her daughter will be only caged once again

Rano taking such a huge step to freeing Geet and letting her go to Maan

knowing well that Mohinder will not take kindly to any disappointment

Maan knowing that Geet is getting engaged still his love made him wait for her

and when he no longer could wait he went towards his car while Geet kept running
