I loved how she mollycoddled him like a baby, he was so hurt, and for multiple reasons. RR what an actor man. When he laments on how he couldn't protect his daughter, you'd actually feel for him. I love the fact that it was shown in a way that a father's regretting more than a husband is regretting for not trusting his wife. That was close to real. He was devastated because of Sneha and his inability to make the situation any better for her.

Random stuff while going through these scenes -

Sorry, can't include your hyperlinks just yet.

You have captured it so perfectly!. Always felt short of words to describe this one. Its when reel and real life fuse.

I melted watching the way she was looking at him before the party. ❤️ But he remained immune to her looks shut the door on her face. If I were in her place, I'd have gone straight into his room despite his protests.

Also, the way she grabbed his shoulder during their verbal fight to make him face her made it evident that she's claiming her territory. 😛

Me too! God only knows how she could control! But, P was also a match for RB's ego and self-respect. And that's why she didn't run in his room. Oh yes, the shoulder pull was perfectly executed. They never shared physical relation despite being in the same house for almost 15 years but she never had the slightest apprehension to hug him or hold his collar😉 (But when AB held his collar, RB just floored him!)

Remember how after Aparna's accident in valley she joined hands and shut him off??? He was puzzled by her reaction😃 He was enjoying giving her the cold shoulder and P's attention and all. But suddenly she put an end to it and he was like now what!

The show would not have been the same. Which other TV show is being repeated except KZK. Definitely, there is a large audience which started following after RB came into the picture. And in my opinion, the way RR played RB made all the difference and what RB and PRB are today.

Had it been someone else, I guess it would have remained a cameo. No offense to any actor but just my perception. Because RR gave the soul to RB. He was just flawless. Being called the most iconic character of ITV is no mean feat. True that EK visualized this character and there was a whole team of actors and writers etc. but RR made it his own show and ST was phenomenal. She got the perfect co actor in RR to create the magical PRB. It is not for any simple reason that people jumped shipped from AnuPre to PRB. RR as RB was a force to reckon with and that made all the difference in my opinion.

As for the gaze, it clearly shows P's longing for RB. Very expressive eyes ST has. Her 20 years wait was shown so well in that dream dance. It was full of lust, longing, love. She had eyes just for him and didn't care whether she was a grandmother or a teenager. All she wanted was her man to love her back.

Wow! how lovely you have described it. Yeah, it would have taken every ounce of his self-control. Because he actually didn't have amnesia. And despite his hatred installed by Komolika, he loved her every bit and more. It is again as you rightly said, ceasing all physical contact when they had a fight🤣 Even at the age of a grandfather he had the ego of a teenager. But that scene was something. The way Prerna ran towards him without a thought of Ab and how she hugged him, almost would have fallen down if RR hadn't maintained his footing😉

I liked when she told her mom that RB's memories were not "boj" for her. In fact they were her "sahara" and strength. It felt just right then for her to marry AB without feeling as if she is deceiving RB.

Just an observation, I have always loved how ST used to hold RR's shoulder. It felt so much in sync. Whether during their dance performances or hugs or otherwise, their chemistry was just apt even at these small things. Your pic shows that clearly how her fingers are wrapped around perfectly.

When her saree got fixed in RB's watch, it gave us one of the most beautiful scenes that showed intense longing and a fear of the looming separation. It was too beautiful for words. Prerna must have wanted to run straight into his arms.

That dream dance was sizzling hot and loaded with strong emotions you mentioned. The love, longing, and lust in her eyes gave her the appearance of a seductress RB could never resist without that planned amnesia.

RR was actually shaken by ST's hug and would have fallen like you mentioned. That scene had multiple hugs shot from varying angles and the side angle was the best one.

@Bold - That's a lovely observation. I repeatedly pause and rewind the videos to notice the minutest details. Apart from the thing you mentioned, I've always loved the placement of her hands upon his chest. RR-ST are ITV's best couple...pity Ekta didn't cast them again! 😒

Anyway, I'll try to keep it short. I see Rishabh Bajaj as ITV's greatest ICON. A character that is the sinner and the saint, the beloved and the betrayed (Borrowing Kamla Das's brilliant lines yeah). He has been everything from a heartless man with mysterious charm who would treat the rest as insignificant beings and walk over them with zilch regret to a man who devoted his whole existence to a woman he so passionately loved.

Rishabh has been everything...be it a heartless businessman, a jealous, insecure, and possessive husband, a cunning schemer resorting to borderline cruelty, an obsessed one-sided lover, a great friend, a passionate lover, a crushed and betrayed lover, a father who showed the world that the deepest ties may not necessarily be blood ties, then a father capable of sacrificing his love for the sake of a child that wasn't his, a man willing to accept his fiance's love for another man and patiently waiting outside a house with a hopeful heart, a man with solid self-control who wouldn't touch his wife without her permission to someone who would jump in to romance watching his wife tie his tie, a flirtatious husband to a cold one capable of ignoring your very existence, a lover capable of walking out of a relationship he literally worshipped, a wounded man willing to avenge the wrongs done to him...a man with too many layers and conflicting shades.

Ekta might alter his looks, outfits and the BGM. I'd be okay with that. However, the USP of the character shouldn't be changed. RB is meant to be a man possessing multiple layers and shades with certain shades overpowering the rest depending upon the situation. Moreover, his deep love for Prerna should remain the same. These two things define Rishabh Bajaj.

I have never come across a better description for RB! Probably you should write a thesis. I would be quite willing to give you inputs😉

Behold the way she's looking at him. Her one hand is upon his chest and the other one is caressing his hair.

After few episodes, they had performed that Chand chupa badal mein on Karvachauth. That was the real version of this dream sequence. Watch the emotions portrayed by P madam. Again similar family function setting, but she was least bothered. Now that she knew RB's memory was back, she was in full form🤬🤣

Another time when she hugged him this way and he was actually shaken up was a scene during Sneha cancer track. One of the underrated scenes but my all time favorite with again some awesome dialogue. P was blasted by everyone at Basu house for conceiving with A when they see the reports. Thankfully A defended P and RB was just waiting outside but the look in his eyes and the way he nods at her when she runs out crying, saying just through his eyes that "Don't worry my love, I am there for you. Let's go home and I will make everything right for you." So, after this when she locks herself up and he wonders whether to knock on her door or not, retraces his footsteps as he can't see her in pain and wants to comfort her but she takes a while to open up. He has almost given up when she opens the door. And then after their conversation, the way she runs to him, it was a strong hug. RR was shifted back on his footing. And the way he silently mouth I love you was so perfect. She wanted to be held by him so badly after all the humiliation at Basu house and desperately seeking love. It was these things that mattered. How RB made her feel loved when the rest of the world judged her.

Well, I also desperately want them to be cast again. I do hope we get a web series from RR and ST. There is a huge fan following for these 2 actors to be seen in the same space. Then again, if that happens I would split between PRB and the new jodi. So don't know how I would feel about that. Because PRB is just, well PRB. I guess it will be like how RB loved Sneha and Kasak, bas yehi chota sa farak hain.

Sorry, I have removed the hyperlink. When was this? After Kolkata accident?

The pain in her eyes! It was the same pain RB used to feel for her when she was hurt by all the Basus. They really were made for each other as each understood the other so well! The pain felt by one for the other was the strength of their relationship. Each one of them took their turn to keep holding the other when their partner was slipping away, either due to health or family issues or just their own differences. When RB backed out, P made sure not to lose him and brought him around. The same with RB. When P Stepped back, he waited patiently,(though sometimes borderline cunningness was in the equation too), until she returned. The mere sight of him waiting for her at every step was enough for her to run to him and never look back then.

The pain in her eyes is same as the pain in RB's eyes when Prem died. That is a track I quite shudder to revisit but I love one very small scene and yet quite powerful. Actually 2 scenes. When RB comes back from Australia after Prem's death and meets Prerna at mandir steps holding an umbrella. He is tongue-tied. Not able to figure out what to say as he just cannot see the love of his life in so much pain and his helplessness is what he hated more than anything. Despite being accused of Prem's death, his concern was only her well being and to be able to mourn her son before anything else.

And after that, there is a scene when he visits P at her mom's place as she has left Basu house. Her mom is not pleased, but P was relieved to see RB. The way he says, kaisi ho tum? Just watch that scene. RR has portrayed that simplest of the dialogues so effectively that it made an impact so strong on P. It was a rush of warmth and the strongest of hugs without any physical contact or a long conversation. His eyes, his voice, his body language, there was so much concern, compassion, and helplessness. He just wanted her to be out of that state. And P reacted equally beautifully. Without words. Just a shrug of the shoulder indicating you very well know how I am coping up and that I have died inside but just breathing. ST again great. They both brought out the best of each other I feel when they were in the same space. And then he leaves. It was a full conversation between them, even back then when they were not that strong. But it was enough. As their souls talked more than any verbal communication or what their conscious minds could fathom. And then her mom comes back with tea and says where is RB, P says he went away. And then the look P gives to her mom when she says Ajeeb insaan hain. P would have chewed her off had it not been her mother! It was like mom you will not understand how comforted he just made me feel with his 2 mins of presence, which even you could not make me feel.
