Oh I didn't mean that Alia doesn't have any competition in the industry acting wise 😅 I just meant that there's no competition between Alia and DP when it comes to acting skills. Alia wins hands down.

Deepika. Based on pure versatility. She has done every genre, succeeded and has been accepted by the audience for every single filmography milestone. Alia has failed in period movies. Now I will like her to try comedy to gauge her standing. Alia has only done major dramas till now. Time to explore.

I connected better to the characters Deepika played onscreen than I ever did with Alia including her much acclaimed sehmat and safina. I don't know much technicalities related to acting but Alia for me never transforms but Deepika looks the part in all of her movies and that too effortlessly (i don't feel she's trying hard to be the character) but with Alia she came across as try hard. For me the difference between the two is one is just being and another is trying to be. And I prefer being onscreen than trying to be.
