Such depth in the emotions.. the pain, trauma, yearning was depicted so well.

You kept the friendship of Amrita and Sameer intact with a realistic touch in the way Amrita was thinking of being away from Sameer because of his so called friends.

And the letter, though it provided solace to him that he got a letter from her, piece of paper she touched that he is holding, but it also gave him pain and sadness.

And Sameer is right, the people he hangs out with cannot be termed as friends. They dont care about him. Sameer doesnt only yearn for Naina's love but also Mundit's friendship. But the saddest part of all is that he is causing this for himself.

The possessive Sameer Maheshwari is always a treat and I know that reading your story would give me more of these treats as we want the same thing. And I knew it when I read the prologue itself that you wouldn't bring any other girl for Sameer...

The meet was superb. I loved that line - boundaries set by her and walls erected by him.. just wow...

Even though Naina wants to move on, her heart is always attached to Sameer, more than him she feels his pain...

And the hanky... no matter how much she tries to conceal, care and love is evident and the hanky is the proof. I loved the way you made Naina address Sameer formally, it showed the strength and confidence in Naina.

And the last part of Sameer kissing the hanky was emotional....

Kop kop for loving my new work so much. I just tried to get across the emotions that i felt were brewing at the heart of Delhi Track.

I have a genuine fondness for Amrita. She was a true friend to Sameer who really helped him get in touch with his lady love. She even helped him land his first job which is why I could not see Amrita not being Sameer's friend but she too was backing away consciously because of the changes in Sameer. As a girl she was bound to feel uncomfortable.

The letter was meant to be the last one and it was a rude awakening to Sameer that Naina had let him go because of the nonresponse from his side. Sameer has caged himself up in a shell and he has isolated himself from everyone who cares about him in life. Friends like mundit and a lover like Naina are rare gems to find and they define sincerity. After you have that kind of bond in your life you learn to separate genuine friendship from fake friendship.

Gear up my dear it will be one hell of a ride for you that will involve lots of jealous Sameer Maheshwari. Oof its just started you dont even know the kind of bomb I am going to drop. Just wait and watch.

I am stunned how you nitpicked the parts from my update which I wrote with most emotion. The hanky, the line about boundaries and walls, and the formal speech are all symbolic which I am going to repeat in my future updates so do take a note of them.

Naina coming to delhi sameer fighting and punching the guys saying things about naina their meeting aur vo aap aap KEH kr naina k tadaakedaar chaante bole to ekdum jhakaas!!!!! Afterall you've the quality to give us the spices of emotional, trauma , sadness, excitement, gushing , passion, blushing and love in one single update. So dil le lo for that

Your comment took me back to the initial days of our friendship in the comments section of HAHK and made me realise just how much I miss your lengthy detailed reviews on my work. Tumhari excitement aur utawalapan dekhkar I am even more motivated to make this story as good as I can make it. Yes I have been very ill but thanks to the LTG's and my family's love and support I am on the mend now and much better.

I am glad you agree with Naina leaving Sameer. My biggest fears with this concept were: a. readers would feel disconnected with Sameer's character for what he has done. But its good to see people understand the complication and flaws in Sameer. He is by far my favourite character on ITV. He is a man of many shades, layers, and complexities. And despite being flawed you cant help but love him for the way he loves Naina. Because he has been constantly abandoned his entire life and its just Naina's unconditional love that gives him a sense of stability and to have that taken away would mean a very dark Sameer. Which is what I am trying to explore: that darkness, that deewangi.

Second fear was that people wouldn't agree with Naina's choice of giving up on Sameer because in the show through her character it has become pretty evident that she wouldn't actually give up on Sameer so easily. That she would wait for him is shown so beautifully in the Delhi Track. And because she understands Sameer to the T she would never doubt his love for her. So I had pretty difficult time balancing her variable emotions and attitudes. Which is why I brought in the letter because she feels that maybe for sometime even if Sameer didn't love her he had felt something towards her and the reason for her moving on is not that she is not his forever rather he is not her's anymore.

Since the two have come face to face now, things are going to change and feelings are going to pick up. Of course they will meet again and again and everytime their yearning will increase. I hope I do justice to the premise I have set out to explore.

Can feel the pain in Naina's letter. But as much as she resist herself to not to love him anymore the more would she get nearer to him. Same goes with Sameer, he's constantly promising himself to stay away and standing there gazing at her and fantasizing her😌

Coming to your observation about the chapter: this is the dilemma I have tried to set in. Their main conflict after coming face to face is not in actuality with each other (because they both love each other far too much for that). Their main conflict is with their inner demons. I have always seen Samaina's relationship s more than soulmates and lovers. I have always felt that the two of them make them confront their weakness and in embracing them they grow. In the past years its not just their love that has grown but also their characters. Growth has not just come from their life but also from each other (acc. to the show that is). And that is what I like to explore in my stories. In this particular SS they will confront their demons and with love will grow.

@bold- There is nothing to be stunned about di, you wrote it with full emotions so it did strike a chord in our hearts as well. I am a person who likes these one line that symbolically represents the whole scenario or emotion. The boundary and wall line is my most fav from the whole update. It showed the truth of Samaina's life...

maybe its because you are a writer yourself that that one line I had struggled the most with was the one you picked out. I constantly edited it because it felt like no matter what I tried it didn't fit. And then I tried playing off on the symbolic of walls and boundaries. You will see it continue throughout the story. Do leave in your reviews how that symbol has changed in the particular update.
