I saw the episode properly on Voot.
Yaar kasam is only present in the BG music.
Yes Raghbir is indeed inspired by Kabir Singh and Aditya Hooda, btw both are different. Rather the onus is more towards Ghajini. This is an intense personality disorder and to play it safe, reincarnation and the aura surrounding it is promoted. The main theme is the pain endured by the ML who suffers trauma to the extent of being treated. How his nature effects those around him and that poor gal who is actually going to fall for him is what this show is all about ( maybe reincarnation will also be there, who knows).
So, this guy actually suffers from short term memory loss which leans to schizophrenia traits. Selective memory lapses. Dual personalities where the pain incurred is so deep that for Raghbir every girl is Bani. He is in a trance, when things are back to normal all is forgotten. No memory of the past as events are short. Raghbir is treading between a thin line of abnormalities and normalcy.
Oh dear, he has to be like this, for me such characters are like magnets. This is Mata's show and she gone into parapsychology. 2016 - 2017 it was Maya Mehrotra, 2018 Aditya Hooda, 2019 of all the possible exceptions Ragbir
No idea how many takers are there amongst ITV viewers for this type of intense character. Though I love these kinds but no actual hope on Ek and Colors, they can change everything for trps.
Pearl is doing a good job. Really when he first came as Mahir , I found very difficult to understand his dialogues, no issues, the actor in him has worked on many short comings.
