Mending Love

PART 5

Location : Smile Orphanage

Maaneet met for a brief moment.Soon both were dragged by the kids in different direction.It turned night... Maan and Geet bid bye to kids.The kids asked them to stay for some more time...But both said they had to go but promised them to visit them soon.

Maan went to meet the in-charge of the Orphange while Geet moved out.She met her school friend Preetha near the Orphanage and Preetha invited her to stay at her home for a week,as all their school friends have planned a get together.Geet refused saying that she came home just few days before..but Preetha almost begged her and finally Geet said yes.Geet called her parents to inform about her stay at her friend’s home but their phone were switched off.So she called Muskaan...

Muskaan : Hello Geet!

Geet : Muskaan...howz ur first day internship?

Muskaan: Its great Geet...(ST:expect I came face to face with that Raavan Aman...)

Geet: Accha Muskaan..actually our school friends have planned a get together..so me going to stay in my friend..Preetha’s home for a week dear...

Muskaan: Kyaa...Geet di just few days before you came homeaur yeh get together zaroori hai kya...plzz tell no na..I wanna spent time with you..plzz na Di!

Geet: Just a week baba..don’t know if we’ll get another chance like this..plzz Muskaan..

Muskaan: Teek hai di...Did you inform Mom and Dad?

Geet : Actually I called them..but their phones were coming switched off..can we plzz inform them dear...

Muskaan: No probs Geet di..I’ll inform them..Enjoy with yourfriends!!Got to go now..so byeee!!

With this the call ended and soon Geet informed her driver about the same.She said that she will go to her friend’s home with Preetha and asked him to return home.When he asked about her things she said that she’ll share with her friends..no probs!

Driver too left for home.Geet went to the place where Preetha was waiting for her..but she couldn’t find Preetha there.

Geet: Preetha..(ST: Ab yeh ladki kahan chali gayi mujhe akelechod ke)Preetha..kahan ho?

She called for few times but she couldn’t hear he rfriend.She received a call from Preetha stating that her brother met with an accident so she had to rush and she also apologised to Geet.Geet asked her not to worry and asked her to take care of her brother.

Geet: Babaji plzz Preetha ki bahi ko raksha karna..Plzz

The orphanage was situated little outer area and as it was night ..Geet couldn’t find a transport.It was about to rain and cold air was blowing too.She tried to call her driver but her battery drained down which she noticed only after trying to call her driver.

Geet: Chal Geet bete..you have to walk few kilometers...then only you will get atleast an auto..uff babaji!!Saying this she started to walk.

She walked for few minutes when she noticed few men were following her.She tried to increase her speed but then too they followed her.The area was deserted too.Fear gripped her heart and she started to run.That men ran after her and caught hold of her.

She struggled to escape from their grip but she couldn’t.She shouted for her only to get slapped by those goons.

Goon 1: Chilla kyun rahi ho..koi nahi aayega tumhe bachane...yeh humare area hai! And he stared to crease her cheeks.Geet was wriggling and she tried to kick him,when he pushed her down and two men caught hold of her hands.It stared raining heavily...

Geet:Plzz plzz mujhe chod dijiye..plzz!!Koi hai..koi bachao..plzz mujhe jaane do!!

Geet’s voice completely hidden by the sound of the rain.And the goons were laughing at her helplessness.

Goon: Kitna chilla na hai na..chillao!!Koi nahi suneha tumhe..by saying that she pulled her dupatta and threw it some where.Geet tried to cover herself but she couldn’t as her hands were held by two men.Soon another caught her legs and one man tearing her top.Geet wished to die rather than facing this and nothing but tears were following non stop.

Soon she felt the grip losing from her hands and legs.She coudn’t see anything clearly due to the rain but she saw the goons fighting.One was knocked down, another’s head was made to crash against a tree..one man fell down with his hands broken...Only two goons were left know.Geet tried to standup but her back and leg was hurt as she was pushed down and also her dress was torn badly from the front.She tried to cover herself with her hands.

She could see a man in white shirt fighting against the two goons.He was singly handling both.The fight doesn’t seem to end.One of the goons caught hold of the man who was fighting against them from the back and the other started to beat him severely and soon they knocked down that man and stared to move towards Geet.Geet was frozen and when she tried to move her leg didn’t support her.When one man tried to touch her again...a hand caught hold of that goon’s hand and twisted it.The goon shouted in pain.Geet was dragged and now she was standing at the back of man..all she could see was the back of man,covered in white shirt along with some blood dripping from here and there.She recognised the man..he was the one who was fighting against the goons.She safely hid behind him.

Goon: Oye...chal nikal raaste hai..yeh humari kudihai!Humare kaam mai dhakalandasi math dena..cha but his words were cut when her eceived a punch at jaw...

The two goons tried to fight against the man...but both failed this time.He shielded Geet and as well as fought against the goons and soon he knocked both the goons down.

He turned and saw Geet who was crying,shivering in fear and also trying her best to cover her modesty.He soon turned away..removed his shirt and handed it to her.

He : Yeh lijiye..plzz wear it!He extended his hand and gaveit to her.Geet wore the shirt.

Geet: Ji..ba..bahout shuk shukriya..aap aap aakoo...she was struggling to talk.And the man seems to understand her situation..

He: Plzz aap kuck mat boliye...please come with me..I’ll drop you in your home safely.

With the mention of her home...Geet further broke down..all the scary moments again flashed infront of her eyes and she was afraid about her family’s reaction.How she will face them and tell whatever happened..they will be hurt more...it was running in her mind continuously...

The man turned and saw her...

He: Plzz come..it is raining too...plz

Geet tried to walk..but seems her legs was sprained and when she was about to fall the man caught hold of her and carried her in hisarms..that is when she saw his face clearly..he was the same man she met in the orphanage...she tried hard to remember his name..and she got it..it was Maan....
