Part-16

All came back from party and gathered at Bhalla house as everyone was curious to know the whole matter. The moment they entered the hall, all started asking different questions to Ishra and Abhi like when Raman got to know about Ashok and how they planned everything. Raman started answering,

R - Yeh Ashok wala kand jab hua tab main yahan tha nhi lekin jab wapas aaya to kuch gadbad hai yeh aap logo ke behavior se samajh gaya tha. Suddenly, you decided to get me and Ishita married that to be secretly, that was really very suspicious.

Mr Bhalla - Tujhe us waqt apne gusse ke siwa kuch aur bhi dikh rha tha??

R - ji papa. I was angry because you….

I - Raman..

R - Fine. Leave it. So I was suspicious then I noticed Simmi and Ishita’s changed behaviour seeing Ashok in party. As none of you were telling me so I had to find it out myself. I got to know about his acts. I got angry. That time we were in kerala so first I talked to Ishita then Abhi that bow can they just sit silent.

Flashback :-

One evening when Ishra were sitting near a beach of kerala, Raman started the conversation.

R - Ishita, will you answer me sincerely if I will ask you something?

I - You need permission for this?? Of course I will answer you. Ask anything.

R - Ashok... (Her smile vanished and she looked at him) What did he do? What's his mistake?

I - I don't want to talk about him.

She stood to go when she heard him,

R - If you don't want to say anything then let me tell you.

She turned to him.

R - Ha main bta deta hu kya kab kaise kiske sath hua.

I - Aapko kaise pta??

R - Why? What did you think? I will not get to know if you all will not tell me. Now I know everything so what do you think, what do you expect from me to do…. To sit silently like you guys. I should also just sit and see what will he do next. Right?

Slowly his tone got heavy with anger.

I - Really? You think that we are sitting silently. Yeh bas main hi jaanti hu ki main us aadmi ko kaise tolerate karti hu. Aapko kya hai bas gussa karlo ho gaya. You are really a Ravan kumar.

She said and turned to other side with tears in her eyes. While Raman stood in front of her and said holding his ears.

R - Acha sorry. I should not say like that but why are you not doing anything. What are you waiting for?

I - Proof.

R - Proof?? Really Ishita. You can use cctv footage…

I - That I also know but that is not enough. What will happen to him by using this cctv? He will go to jail then he will get bail easily. I want to make a strong case against him. He must have done many crimes till now. I want to punish him for all that…

She was saying when he smiled,

I - What? Why are you smiling? You know you are too bad. You just know to shout at me.

R - I was just thinking that you are always right to say that I got angry soon and don't think much. I didn't think this much. I just wanted to punish him.

I - That you are.. angry Ravan kumar.

Later in night time he called Abhi.

A - Hi Raman. How are you?

R - Yeh sab chodo aur mere sawal ka jawab do. Kya tum sach mein Simmi se pyaar karte ho?

A (surprised) - Aise kyu bol rhe ho Raman? Of course I love her.

R - Then how can you let all this happen. They are girls that’s why they are thinking so much but why are you silent like this.

A - Did you get to know about Ashok’s matter?

R - Yes, I got to know everything. Being a man how can you let anyone harm your girl?

A - Enough Raman. Once it happened but I didn’t let it happen again. I always protected her and your wife also. Don't point a finger on me like this. When I got to know about the matter, I didn't shout at her like you. I was always beside her and encouraged her to fight for herself being a woman and for others also. I respect their decision. I never let their confidence to go down amd never left their side. Now look at yourself what you did?

Saying he cut the call thinking he need time. Raman thought of his reaction after knowing the truth, how he shouted at Ishita and how she is dull from that moment. He first cleared everything with Ishita then talk to Abhi to plan something to expose Ashok.

Flash ends…

R - Then I understood their point. Also, I had already heard bad things about Ashok. So I thought to make a strong plan to expose Ashok. But along with this, I wanted that Ishita should stop working with that man. So I made a plan and….

Mrs Bhalla - And what you did?

R - Vo Maa. ..

Mr Bhalla - Ishita had no injury na? She was absolutely fine. That was all fake.

Mr Iyer - Kya yeh sab sach hai Raman?

R - Ha.

Mr Bhalla - Then what you did?

R - Next, we wanted to expose Ashok by his own mouth as Ishita and Simmi thought. And for that we needed someone who will win Ashok’s confidence and then he will make him confess his own crimes but the main thing was that the person should be our enemy because I knew that Ashok Khanna's male ego empowers his thoughts process. So we called Tarun and Deepali who were from London and just came to India to complete their post graduation few years back. They were my classmates. Abhi and Ishita knew them only, even none of you all knew them. It was all planned, their entry in party, that drama, insulting us, me and Ishita fighting, everything. Then Ashok Khanna talked to them, they behaved like our real enemies, they told him a story that how they proposed me and Ishita in college but we rejected them etc etc and that Ashok Khanna tried to find its reality. He got to know same story.

Mr Bhalla - Was it truth or a lie?

R - (thinking ) Inhe bhot jaldi hai jaanne ki. (To mr Bhalla ) - we will talk about it later papa.

R - Ashok got the information about Tarun and Deepali which we told him as that was all truth. So he believed them. Slowly they did friendship with him and one by one he himself admitted his crimes and we were always ready with cameras and all to record everything. His own servants helped us, they got easily ready to work for us when he offered more money. Then finally today we did it. (Turning to Tarun)- Thank you so much to both of you. You did so much for us. Thanks a lot. ..

Tarun - Pagal hai kya? Tere thanks ke liye nhi kiya tha yeh sab. Dost ke liye kuch bhi. Samjha.

Abhi - This is the second time that you both did a very good thing for Ishita and Raman.

Mr Bhalla - Pehli bar kya kiya tha?

R - Aaj aapko bhot kuch jaanna hai, papa.

Mr Bhalla - Tera baap hu beta. Sab samajhta hu. Abhi, tum bolo kya kiya Tarun Aur Deepali ne inke liye aur pehle jo Raman bolne wala tha vo kya tha?

Abhi - Vo uncle…

I - I have some urgent work to do so I'm leaving….

Mr Bhalla - Ishita puttar, sare kam wait kar sakte hai. Koi kahi nhi jaa rha, especially you and Raman. Abhi, you continue and now no one will interfere.

Abhi - Uncle, actually Tarun and Deepali proposed Ishita and Raman respectively but they rejected, this is truth. In reality, they didn’t love them but pretend to do so. It was their plan to make Ishita and Raman realise that they….

Mr Bhalla - That they….

Abhi - They….

Mrs Bhalla - complete it…

Abhi - That Ishita and Raman love each other.

Mr Bhalla (happily) - Yes yes yes… yeh

Everyone looked at Ishita and Raman who were not meeting their eyes.

Mr Bhalla - See Vishva, we were right. See.

He said happily.

Abhi - Uncle..

Mr Bhalla - We all were sure that they might like each other but when they denied for marriage we thought that may be we are wrong. Then seeing their care fir each other we thought that they love each other but they didn’t realise it. Kyu Raman puttar ab kuch nhi bolne.

Simmi - I'm confused. Now they had realised it or not.

Abhi - Long back.

Mihika - means??

Tarun - They were always aware of their feelings. They were just pretending like they are just friends. They love each other from college and after our plan, we made them understand to confess their feelings too and they confessed too but always hide it from everyone. Only me and Deepali knew that to be because we helped them.

Simmi - That means we were doing hard work unnecessarily. You both are so bad especially you bhai.

Mr Iyer - Then why you both denied for marriage?

Abhi (smiling) - Because they just confessed their feelings few months back that time and suddenly you gave marriage proposal. We were not even telling them the reason. We were doing emotional blackmail so they were not happy and when they were about to tell you all, both of them had an argument and got angry with each other. They were forced into this marriage like this and indirectly we interfered in their girlfriend boyfriend life.

Mrs Bhalla - Pagal hai yeh dono.

Mihika - Pagal to hum the. Hum in dono ko sath karne ke liye itna kuch kar rhe the par yeh dono to pehle se hi sath hai.

Abhi - We were wrong as we interfere in their life when we were sure that they are in love.

Mrs Iyer - Chalo koi nhi. Ant bhala to sab bhala.

Seniors left from there to rest while Mimi and Simmi didn’t let Ishra, Abhi, Tarun and Deepali to go and gathered in garden for a ice cream party. Simmi made all couples to sit together with their ice cream.

R (slowly) - Ab pta nhi konsa naya game khelenge hamare sath.

I - Kuch nhi hoga.

Simmi - Ishita, bhai kuch gusse mein lag rhe hai. Ice cream bhi nhi kha rhe. You can feed him by your hands, may be his anger will go down…

All laughed and then told Ishra to feed each other while Raman gave a look to Ishita saying "I told you na." Seeing no other choice, Ishra fed each other while others hooted for them….

Here I'm ending this part.
