Simmba Does Well On Television - Total Dhamaal Huge

Simmba got a good rating on television with over 1 crore impressions and is the third best of the year after the biggies Total Dhamaal and 2.0 (Hindi). Total Dhamaal is a BLOCKBUSTER on television after recording almost 85 lakh impressions on its second screening. The film has 2.5 crore impressions on just two viewings.

2.0 (Hindi) is a Super HIT and Simmba is a HIT or maybe SUPER HIT depending how it does in the long run. The film is the first HIT film of Ranveer Singh on television after the disaster results of Gully Boy, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. The other two films which have recorded decent numbers on television are Race 3 and Uri - The Surgical Strike. The latter has good figures while Race 3 still managed numbers despite a 7 month delayed television premiere.

The top five television premieres of 2019 are as follows.

3. Simmba - 1,11,02,00,000 (Zee)

4. Race 3 - 70,85,000 (Zee)

I had asked here before, whose power will win.. Rohit's or Ranveer's? Rohit's movies get highest TRPs and Ranveer is a TRP-poison. Chalo, balance ho gaya.

Btw, they should make Top TRP rating for first five airing of the movie. There are movies that got high TRP on premiere, but later took nosedive.

Whateven 😁 Gullyboy has not yet premiered on Television and Ramleela and Bajirao Mastani have repeats on Sony max and viacom channels every month. The only one that underperformed in the slb-deepveer trilogy on tv was padmavat as its more of a big screen spectacle and commercial breaks in such movies are taxing. BBB has decent reruns too. It was befikre and killdill that were rejected by tv audiences. DDD is repeated often too.

not really, Ranveer and Ranbir are TV poison, they have hardly done well in TV.

Ranbir ka ajab prem is repeated once in a while. Other movies not so much. Surprisingly his much loved movie YJHD is never on tv. But the movies I listed of Ranveer I have seen them playing often on tv. Ratings ka pata nahi.
