He was perfect. Even his Marathi accent was bang on Bajirao.
He played a gujurati in ramleela, he also stayed in gujurat for a couple of weeks to prep for ramleela, he stayed with the locals

Oh! I have only seen 2 of his films - Bajirao and Gully Boy. Wasn't active on the forum during Ram Leela's making/release, otherwise I get to read stuff from here.
