Shreya in Deepa Mehta’s Next

After the bundles of praise and acclaim Deepa Mehta received from her last release Water, the talented director, who dares to venture into subject matter no one dreams of, is all set to begin her next project.

This time round Lisa Ray will once again be amongst the cast as well as Seema Biswas. However,the new addition to the cast that has the media talking is Shreya Saran. The soft spoken and delicate beauty that reigns from South Indian cinema is all set to make it big on the international arena.

It is great to see Shreya's talent being recognised despite the fact her earlier film, Awaraapan, opposite Emraan Hasmi did not do so well at the Bollywood box office.

However, this is not the only international project Shreya has in her bag of treats for her fans! The stunning actress will be seen opposite Jesse Metcalfe (of Desperate Housewives fame) in Ashok Amritraj's The Other Side of the Line.

For those fans of South cinema Shreya is not an unheard name or unseen face. The actress has done very well in her South Indian movies especially last year when she delivered the record-creating blockbuster Sivaji co-starring Rajni Kant.
