Kashibai and PC

I was just watching Bajrao Mastani again as it was airing on my local channel and I could not help but appreciate Kashi bai and PC. The impact of Kashi Bai still has not worn off even after a few years. Kashi bai's expressions and dialogues still tug at your heart strings and make you cry, especially the sequence before war where Kashi Bai forbids Bajrao from her room. What a dignified performance from PC. She clearly outshone everyone else in the movie. To me, she was heart and soul of the movie and without her, the movie doesn't hold any 'watchability' factor. Wish to see more such performances from her in the future.

PC was truly the MVP of BM. She overshadowed both DP and RS in it.

Honestly, I watched the movie for Deepika-Ranveer Jodi but in the end, Kashibai’s character stole the show. For me, her character is the most memorable. It is kind of relatable in a weird way.
