As far as I understand the story so far, Khushi never had any association with boys until she met Arnav. For now I would like to think she doesn't have a broken heart. She is out to unearth something for sure. Most probably the culprit behind Shashi's suspicious death.

@P, I liked all your theories. Mostly your theory on Aman trying to prepare Khushi and her reactions if and when Arnav becomes a prominent figure in politics.

Your theory on Kapoor and associates made me think something else. Who are the other partners in Kapoor and associates? Is it Arnav's biological father or mother?

@EC, I liked how you deciphered the quote and related it to Arnav and Khushi's current and future life.

She loves him, but, can't say it out loud because, she thinks there is no future between them as couple. She thinks by saying "I love you" she might be trapping Arnav into a relationship he does not want.

Why I think she loves him - because, she gave herself to him without any inhibitions. If there is any apprehension in her actions, Arnav would notice. The intimacy they are sharing is not one day or one off thing, right?

I don't know if you remember me. But this is Bella who had disappeared sometime back. And I'm back for now.

Happy to see that you've started this new story. And 'Withered' has me hooked already. The story having the political background has gotten me intrigued cause there's a lot that goes on back there and I can't wait for you to reveal this story layer by layer.

Arnav and Khushi in this story are completely different from your other stories that I've read before. Their odd relationship is something that is interesting because Khushi here seems to be a very withdrawn person while Arnav is the expressive one. But I do feel he expresses only what he wishes to be known. Being into politics, he does have to show that everything around him is all rosy.

From this chapter I feel that he does love Khushi but he has a past that isn't very known to all. And then again 'Old habits die hard'.

Khushi... Right now all I can say is that she feels lost. My thoughts are exactly what Arnav feels about her... She doesn't belong to his world. I guess she feels intimidated with everything happening around her. It doesn't seem like she has many friends to share her feelings with. Also she doesn't seem to be the type of person to burden others with all her worries.

Yes Khushi is totally different while Arnav is loud with his avowals of love.

Arnav and Politics and Khushi and Law. Politicians need to sometimes walk on the thin line between right n wrong side of law and this is sure to bring more sparks.

Like shamzy pointed out, Khushi a principled woman wouldn't give away herself completely physically to Arnav unless she loves him atleast a bit. It may also mean that the reason she needed to marry him surpassed the importance of principles in her life....
