She is not hiding her hatred for prerna from anybody . I think she has more control over nivi than anurag thats why she put the condition . She played all kind of games.to vent out her frustration on prerna for haq jatao on anurag . Lets see how she deals with it.

I just compared 2 n found ishwari kinds more dangerous . Mohini is pure selfish and high headed and for her , her pride matters most thats why she wants the best for anurag ..ishwari couldnt stand anyone close to dev as she couldnt stand the idea of her son loving someone else other than her . While mohini will accept any girl , her only issue.is with the class and status..she accepted komo for anurag ..i havent seen much drama but i feel anurag mostly ignores her and then there is moloy to control.mohini..she wont cause as much damage to them as ishwari managed to. Dev was obsessed with ishwari too , she had his sympathy while anurag's attitude is different . But yes , anurag will never take a.stand for prerna against his.mom

That woman hates Pre coz she thinks Pre's status is not worthy of her being Anurag's wife. She liked komo because of her status and connection. Now that Komo's true face is out, Moh is feeling guilty and remorseful for getting Anu-komo married. That's why she said sorry to Moloy.

Her now disliking komo doesn't mean she has to like Prerna.

In fact though I absolutely dislike Mohini, I do believe she is the most consistent character.

Not sure I get this point. Being consistent is not a virtue or a sign of Mohini being a well written character. In the Naveen track When she was shown to dislike prerna inspite of being the one to bring Naveen into their lives, it still sort of make sense because that was all about the Sharmas getting harmed. But jn tris track she was under threat and komo has paralysed her husband. So the supposed consistency doesn’t make sense. She cannot apologise to moloy and Anu for what she has done and yet have non softening towards the person who brought it all to light.

Serials can show growth and change jn characters. Showing no change or growth in tbe name of consistency is not a virtue.

It's not just because Mohini hates Prerna and the Sharma family, that I get annoyed with her.. That can only be added to her character for the sake of drama.. But her character overall isn't anything likable be it for her so-called love for Moloy or Nivedita or Tapur or even the loudly claimed love that she has for Anurag.. She's only crying and apologizing for something which she's not even blinking an eye to repeat again and again and again.. Then why feel sorry at all in the first place?!

I really really really wish we get less of the mom-son scenes going forward especially the overly love showering scenes.. Because there's not even a single act of hers that actually shows her love for him. He is only an object of pride and brand for her and she doesn't want that pride asset to be tainted with a middle class tag losing its brand value..😆 And no use of going bonkers over this character as there will be no growth or learning for this character.. 🤪

To me mohinis scene with Nivi today was another sign that Mohini does not really love nivi. Her acceptance and love are all conditional on Nivi being her stooge and helping her in all her manipulations. The moment Nivi doesn’t agree with her she will shut off the tap of motherly love. No wonder Nivi has ended up being such a bitter angry person.

The mother - son scenes also reflect badly on anurag. During the whole Naveen track there were many incidents where Mohini would be openly hostile to prerna and sharma in front of anurag and he still thought she was the best mother. The question is whether they will show her being openly hostile to prerna in front of anruag and whether he will allow it to happen. That blindness in anurag is not an attractive quality!

I never said , It's a virtue or well written character. I myself dislike Mohini and was wanting Komolika to push her instead of Pre

All I said is, the character is consistent, unlike Anurag who is probably the most inconsistent character in ITV. He makes grand plans which he himself is not sure of.

Nobody said Mohini is good. She is irritating, possessive and Regressive. But writers have kept her character consistent.

She will probably realise prernas importance after her death when anurag will fall into depression or take into drinking and become devdas for pre.
