Congrats Meenakshi, Kunal is truly his mother's son!

Meant to make a post on Kunal-Meenakshi's dynamics and here it is.

Meenakshi is fake af with Kunal. She is not herself at all and makes him think she is something she is not. Is that where Kunal gets his credit chor tendencies from? 😉She is only her true self with dear Parul and to some extent Abir. She is just deceiving the rest.

Kunal's reaction to Mishti wanting to work and his 'gifting' a laser surgery to her shows that he is EXACTLY like Meenu.

He was angry with Mishti for going against his wishes. He even later told Abir that had Mishti convinced (read:begged) him for the job, he would have said yes. He wants to feel important and for his loved ones to consider his opinion supreme. Now, who does that remind you of? 😛

He scheduled a lasik surgery (a routine but still serious procedure) for Mishti without informing anyone, including her and assumes it is for Mishti's benefit. He gets to decide what is good for her because he knows best. Which benevolent dictator is that like, I wonder. 🤔

Kunal is Meenakshi Jr and Meenakshi will regret raising him to be exactly like her. Like poles repel for a reason. Till Kunal agrees with her, they will be okay but when he tries to exercise his own independent will like agreeing to the rishta or the lasik surgery, she will realise she has created a problem for herself. 😆

Meenaksh is also a coward of the highest order. She knows Kunal will listen to her if she tells him to say no to Mishti BUT she continues to keep up this facade lest anyone think she is anything but a loving matriarch. She wants to have her cake and eat it too.

Will this mumma's boy continue to be his mumma's toy?

If Kuhu-Mishti have good kismat, then neither will marry into this useless family.

But alas! aisa nahi hoga 😆 Mishti is better off 'cause she has Abir by her side while poor Kuhu is gonna suffer 'cause of Kunal.

Actually I think kuhu is perfect for kunal. Kuhu, unlike mishti is more straight-forward and honest about what she thinks and wants, so kuhu would be less likely to follow kunal's orders. Kuhu is the reality check kunal needs.

Abir and mishti on the other hand are perfect for each other. Kunal will just be an irritating and dumb husband for kuhu.

I hope so. Kuhu's view of Kunal is rose-tinted right now because she has not seen him in 'action'. It's funny how both sisters think Kunal is somebody he is not. Kuhu has been depicted to be straightforward but I hope will not become a bheegi billi in romantic relationships, ala Mishti.

Coming to the original post - Meenakshi keeps claiming she did everything for her family, she places her family above everything else. Rubbish!!! She loves herself and only herself. She is incapable of loving anyone else.

I don't understand her logic at all - she wants to break the relationship so her son won't get married to the wrong girl. Ok fine, but what good is setting him up going to do? Meenu Mata ki akal ki Jai Ho!

Meenakshi could have said no to the rishta. She didn't. Cause drama

Meenakshi could have still said no directly when Mishti demanded courtship. She still didn't. Cause theme of the show.

Now I want to watch what would kunals reaction be if Meenakshi does say a direct no.

Definitely and that's what Kuhu has missed out on. Kunal is one of those people who is 'normal' otherwise but very different in his close relationships. Her perspective on Kunal right now is very superficial. If she saw how he behaves in relationships, I am sure the sheen on her 'sports car' would wear off.
