Bharosa, Sukoon, aur Pyar

Those who were hoping for some introspection from Mishti might like today’s scenes😆

Few things stood out for me:

1) Abir gifting the new pair of glasses to Mishti, and her getting emotional about it. Especially with the fact that everyone knew her glasses were broken, but he was the only one thoughtful enough to do something about it for her. The fact that she was so touched by the gesture that tears welled up in her eyes spontaneously said a lot.

This scene flowed quite nicely IMO. Especially worth noting was the fact that despite saying yes for the engagement, Mishti was stressed about her decision. And Abir softly asking her if she’s happy gave her some pause before she clamped down on her doubts and answered that she is happy. She is in clear denial at this point. lol Abir is already confused and is taking her denials on face value 😂.

2) Mishti’s talk with Naira. This bit clearly showed how confused Mishti is and how pressured she feels. Naira made the same point about the illusion of choice that I mentioned in my post yesterday...that everyone else has already made the decision for Mishti and she is expected to feel lucky that she got a “courtship” period and a good Rishta 🙄.

The highlight of this scene was a) Mishti blurting out that all she really wants is bharosa (trust) and sukoon (peace of mind). To this Naira adds the word pyar and for the first time gives Mishti some food for thought regarding her expectations from this Rishta. And b) was Naira accidentally taking ABIR’S name instead of Kunal’s when asking Mishti if she will be able to love him. Mishti’s reaction on hearing Abir’s name made me laugh 😂.

Let’s see if this gives her any food for thought in the coming days. Lol

3) Kuhu’s rant about how stupid Kunal is for not choosing her 😂. I had to laugh when she called herself better looking, stylish and having more personality than Mishti 😂. Clearly humility will never be one of Kuhu’s traits. Lol she’s such a child.

Naanu confronted Abir about Mishti But didn’t get a clear answer today. Lol precap seems like he may get Abir to admit it tomorrow. Mishti meanwhile will continue to unravel in this path of denial. The way she is lashing out at Abir over the eye surgery issue shows how panicked she is inside. The pressure to stick with the Kunal Rishta is too much now and she is too confused to realize why she feels so restless and not content with Kunal.

looking forward to this episode. ofcourse she is restless, nothing is easy about this relationship dont get me started on the chashma, i might have to skip it whole. It is too personal for me

This was a wonderfully written episode. I loved all the things you mentioned.

One thing I felt was when naira mentioned the word 'pyaar' mishti's expression was like pyaar and Kunal - huh?! She was like how the hell am I going to fall in love with kunal? :D girl is so so clueless

And yes, naira hit the nail on the head when she said that everyone had already made this decision for her.

I loved kuhu yesterday - she was so natural and so believable. All her words stuck a chord - when she said she thought during the courtship they would understand they are not right for each other - but gurl, what courtship? They went on like 1 date? That's equivalent to ek cup chai! :D

Kaveri was really good yesterday. I loved how she is portraying kuhu and her turmoil. The girl needs to be given more screen space.

Abir was so sweet with the glasses - and I loved that scene , Mishti was so touched by that gesture, but then I guess the precap - well, IMO Abir should back off . Let's see what today has in store *running to see today's epi in hotstar*
